When the thunder were in the finals I thought Westbrook was the dumbest player. Always took wtf shots for no reason(still does time to time), but I got to give credit where it's due and he's straight ballin out My friend is a huge okc fan(actually use to know KD when he went to UT) and I make fun of him for the harden trade, but like I told him, Westbrook kinda deserves MVP if he continues this. Okc doesn't nearly have the depth like houston. If okc would of paid harden then they would have been a dynasty for the next decade. I'm talking 6/10 years
Ibaka alone has more talent than the Rox roster sans Harden and Howard. If you tell me We can our entire roster for OKC's except for Harden, Howard, Durant and WB almost every poster here will say yes in a heart beat. The problem is it doesn't how talented your teammates are, if you let them shoot just 4 attempts the entire game they won't be able to do anything and it will look like you have to "carry the team".
[rQUOTEr]Westbrook denies lobbying for rebound OKLAHOMA CITY -- Russell Westbrook recorded his sixth triple-double in eight games Friday night, a feat sealed after a quick conference at the scorer's table awarded him a 10th rebound. Westbrook had unlatched his mask and walked to the Oklahoma City Thunder bench with 2:13 remaining in their blowout of the Minnesota Timberwolves, sitting with 29 points, nine rebounds and 12 assists. He was going to be left to watch the final couple minutes a single rebound short of a triple-double, but he looked over at the Thunder's official scorekeepers, holding up his arm. "Tip?" he said, nodding his head. "Tip?" Around the time the buzzer sounded on the Thunder's 113-99 win, Westbrook was awarded an offensive rebound, noted at 2:35 when Westbrook went up to tip back a missed 3 by D.J. Augustin. Westbrook was given a missed shot on it. Westbrook denied after the game that he was campaigning for the rebound. "Uhh, no," Westbrook said. Pressed on the subject, he said, "No," unleashing a trademark glare. The triple-double is his eighth of 2014-15, making him the first player since Jason Kidd in 2007-08 to have eight or more in a season (Kidd had 13). Westbrook became only the fourth player in the past 30 years to record six triple-doubles in a season with at least 25 points (LeBron James, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson). Westbrook actually nearly had a quadruple-double with eight turnovers, giving him an eye-popping 27 over his past three games. "I do know one thing, I know I need to stop turning the ball over. I can tell you that much," Westbrook said, unprompted. "It's so frustrating, trying find and make passes and turn the ball, but at the same time, we won, so I'll go back to the drawing board and take care of it."[/rQUOTEr]

Westbrook is doing his best to give a Kobe impersonation. I am loving it (although actually I want them to win a bit more I do not want the Pelicans to make the playoffs I want that 14th pick it brings back memories).
I think their problem is defense. i just checked last time they scored less than 100 points was back in January. Its just while they score a lot of points, they give up too many points too.
What's the worst thing could happen to OKC ! Loosing KD or Harden scoring 50 points ! I guess WB will be more ball'hog than ever in coming games
What RWB is doing is unbelievable. He's putting up historic numbers. Too bad some of you can't enjoy it because you're too busy hatin'. If anyone can average a triple-double for a season, it's Westbrook.
I also don't Want OKC to have *ANY* chance at a top draft pick So win win win and knock the Pelicans out of the playoffs Rocket River
Getting Enes Kanter has been the key, these triple doubles would be losses if he didn't have the jump shooting of Kanter to hit his passes
