I don't know dobro, they do have Josh shooting 200 three pointers at each practice. Dude should be in that paint putting in work but our offense philosophy is to hoist up a lot of 3's. Agreed Morey knew those two wasn't going to get any real burn on this current team.
At this point we should be able to beat OKC with Durant. The only way we lose that series is if we choke. Same goes for San Antonio and Dallas. When you get to teams like the Clippers and Portland, Memphis who have played well all season then you can say we might lose to them, we all have identical records pretty much. But if we do what we are supposed to do we shouldn't be facing them unless of course we start choking. Same outcome every year blow it up then. Get a new coach and team around Harden. If at this point we don't have confidence that we can get out of the first round, all the MVP talk and our great record means nothing.
OKC with Durant could very easily win the title this year. Their mid season moves have been nothing short of fantastic.
If we can't say the same thing about the Rockets at this point, what's the point? What's Morey doing? Waiting for another All-Star to fall in his lap? Rockets need to improve strategy. You can blame Mchale but Les hired him and extended him.
I have never been on the fire McHale bandwagon but I will say I am frustrated with the lack of development of our rookies. Does the coaching staff not believe that Capella could not give us 5 minutes of defense and rebounding? I know he is listed at 6'11 but he looks bigger than that. And doesn't the experience of playing against D.Jordan, Gorbert, and Portland help his development. It is not fair to compare Pop to Mchale but I love when Pop throws in Aron Baynes for a couple of minutes to make the game more physical.
Probably, You never know until you put him in. Lets see if he has progressed or not. When we're getting out rebounded 15 plus a game, what other options do we have. I don't buy the "Play Harder" narrative, especially on a back to back.
This coward has to go. His late game lack of ability to think or coach hurts the Rockets and wil continue to hurt us Why not hack DJ to keep the healthy lead when clearly out offense stopped and they were making a comeback? Even JVG who hates the hack strategy called for it repeatedly

That was some terrible coaching. We are not getting any advantage in terms of coaching in playoffs. We can only hope and pray that it wont be a liability like last year was.
