He has been injury-prone since college. Last year he played through some dings. Injuries have been a legitimate concern with Murray.

This is why mock drafts are stupid until the week of the draft

I guess this is why most coaches aren't allowed to pla...become GMs. Still, I'm not sure if playing Madden with an active NFL roster is necessarily bad, as long as the team wins. In Chip Kelly's case, win a Super Bowl...no losing seasons.

"How am I doing today Chip Kelly?"
    "You're doing great!"
"Good well then I'll keep it up."

I think the Cowboys will, now that they have solidified their offensive-line, be better off platooning running backs with Randall and either signing Matthews (who is no longer in Philly's plans I take it) or drafting a RB. I still think the Cowboys are going to be able to run the ball well. It may not be as good as last season but even Murray would have a hard time living up to last season. I'm way more concerned about Cowboys improving their defense. The holes will be there for any running back to run through if the line gives a similar performance to last season.

As we know in any sport, what looks good on paper doesn't nearly always translate to the reality of the actual performance/play you get when you spend big bucks like this and/or have big name players all over the paper roster. If that were the case, then Philly should have won at least two super bowls in the last five seasons based on some of their rosters on paper going into some of those seasons. Bradford better than Foles? I'll believe it when I see it.

    8.4 for Murray
3.8 for Mathews(if he signs his original deal)
    3.5 for Sproles

Wonder if they're keeping all 3.

I was thinking the same thing. They run a ton but investing that much in the RB position looks bad on a rookie GM right now, regardless of how much time we see Sproles in the slot or wide.

Running backs are so replaceable. The Eagles and Bills will regret paying such a premium for them.

I think it's more fitting to say running backs are "fleeting".

Getting a guy who can block, catch the ball, and show up every week with 4 YPC is actually not that common.

Problem is, almost all of them are glue factory bound by age 30.

He would have been nice on a prove it deal. Interesting to see what the Titans offered him.

The Rams are quietly killing it in free agency.
