Calvin Murphy hit right in the head. We're waiting till Corey Brewer checks into the game to set the tone for the game. That's inexcusable, so James needs to wake the f**k up and set the tone for this team. His MVP chances are quickly going down the drain.
We are going to lose and probably not close. Jordan will eat us alive. There IS something wrong IMO. Hope I'm wrong and you can dog me out but I don't think so. We will not be a Top 4 seed.
your "hope I'm wrong" saved this post, but I will in fact "dog you out"when we make it to the 3rd or 4th seed
A lot of those are tough games though. This 2-week stretch dating back to the Cleveland game and wrapping up in LA on Sunday is the most difficult of the season. We lost at Atlanta just like nearly every other team does(without Harden I might add), we lost a heartbreaker at home to the Grizzlies thanks to the refs, we lost at Portland who are a damn good team especially at home, and we just lost at Utah who are 9-2 since the All-Star Break on a tough B2B. Losses tend to pile up when you play really good teams and most of the games are away from home. Overall the Rockets are actually doing alright in this stretch. It's just frustrating that we've missed opportunities to clinch tiebreakers against Memphis and Portland and that could cost us dearly at season's end.
That's been going on for months. The starters routinely spot the other team a lead and it's not til the bench comes in that the game gets more competitive. Part of that though is that we're relying on guys like Bev and Ariza to make shots and they're too damn inconsistent. Plus D-Mo's regressed offensively over the last month.
OK Frontline...we'll revisit this in 17 games but unfortunately you won't "dog me out"....I've seen this story before unfortunately.
I think that's correct. The good news is after this current road trip is done we'll hopefully be without Dwight for only 2 more road games(at Indiana and New Orleans) if he comes back in 2 weeks as projected.
