Harden definitely needs to play well in that one while not letting Reddick get off like last time they played at Staples Center. Hopefully Griffin doesn't suit up(or is really rusty and out of sync if he does) and Crawford's still hurt.
Agree with this 100%. Conley might be out for a few games for the Grizz. No one knows how Portland will hold up, Dallas is self destructing. Things are changing week to week. Let's see how everything turns out at the end of March
Imploding. They'll finish 6th in the West. That means another 1st round exit again, blow up the team, rinse and repeat.
I'm talking either winning or only losing by a few points(like last night at Portland). If they go into LA and half-ass it and get blown out with Harden no showing again(especially if Griffin and Crawford are out for the Clippers), then something ain't right.
harden is burned out...it's true, but sad i really hope mchale gets off his casual horse and really gets to the guys tonight...
Watching McDaniels and Johnson, it's obvious why they get no playing time. They're so terribly lost on defensive assignments and rotations, constantly running back and forth in no-mans-land.
Because a loss tonight means the Rockets are only up 1 game on 5th place Clippers, and if the Spurs win tonight, 1.5 games up on them for the 6th spot. If the Rockets won tonight, they'd be only 1 game behind the Grizzlies for the 2nd spot. It's frustrating in such a tight race to not be playing well.
The effort and rebounding tonight almost overshadowed the fact that we endured yet another atrocious 3 point shooting night because we are a team of mediocre shooters who shoot tons of 3's
Nights like this when players are visibly out of it, I wish we had someone coaching and leading the team, thinking for the players. but nah, even that we don't have. The whole offense is up to Harden (though Brewer has shown up lately). The whole defense is up to Howard, Ariza and Bev. Individual skills.
Sucks that we've had a couple of bad games but I'm sure we will pick it up. Really want Harden to win MVP, but I am sure these kind of performances stand out to the media. They really are looking for a reason not to vote for him.
