There is NO comparison between TJ and DMO...I mean NONE. One can shoot 3's and go into the paint and can REBOUND though undersized. The other is a 7ft. Goober standing out on the 3 pt. line and giving up rebounds so fast it'll make you dizzy. We need a 3 pt. shooting 7 footer like a hole in the hand. He has the right idea though....he needs to back up about 3 feet and fall on the bench and stay there.

Remind me of last year's San Antonio Spurs.

...or hit couple more free throws...or don't get out rebounded by 20...

    The list goes on...

The Rockets didn't play a good game tonight. On the road against a team like Portland, it's impossible to win if you can't limit your mistakes.

    huh?

Main point was we should have addressed this at the trade deadline.

    1. We're vulnerable to Harden being guarded well. That's why we should have gone after a suitable PG (not Prigs).
    2. We don't know how good Howard will be. Even then, Howard still needs a back-up.
    3. & 4. Four pts down, I don't know why you don't gameplan for a 2. Why keep jacking up 3s in the closing minutes esp from guys who are not hot? Coaches should instruct their guys how to attack their opponents in the endgame. Coaches should hold their guys accountable

I'm not blaming the rebounding. We have no size without Dwight.

I'm blaming the NBA player for missing shots you get paid to hit.

Beverly should call him self Mr. 47 feet as he plays one side.

I guess the reason I'm giving the other teams an excuse more so than the Rockets is that I'm not convinced the Rockets will get back a healthy Dwight this season. When he came back from injury earlier in the season the team actually played worse for awhile. I know one of the wins against the Thunder was when they were lacking Durant and Westbrook. I couldn't remember if the Thunder were full strength for the other win. I agree completely that the Rockets were cheated in the most recent game against the Grizzlies. I'm not trying to be negative and I'm certainly not giving up on the team. I just have concerns regarding how things have gone against the elite teams this year.

He just stands out there watching NBA games for free.

What responsibility should take for him?

It's the same song every time. Gotta make open threes if we are gonna be a three point shooting team plain and simple. Hitting FTs wouldn't hurt either

DMO score the most point per possession on the post of the entire NBA.
Dmo is a better 3 point shooter.
Dmo is not a center, play well as a PF.

Jones is a great rebounder and weak side shoot blocker.
Jones is a great scoring out of broken plays
Jones is not a big body and can't play center.

Both are good at defending the pick and roll.
    None of them are Centers

Once Dwight gets back rotations will get better.

Joke is on the Blazers. If the playoffs started today then they would be facing the team that knocked them out of the playoffs effortlessly last year.

Then again, we haven't been doing well against the Clippers since they got Chris Paul/Doc Rivers, and Griffin will most likely be back and ready for the playoffs.

I hope he does not say: 'Just another off series (in the playoffs)'.

It's not my thinking. It's just right out there.

How constant double teams made Harden only shoot 2 times in an half game?

Agree.Didn't play well for sure BUT I didn't think Portland had a really great performance. Most disappointing is this game was extremely winnable despite the horrific night. Rebounding.... I may be wrong but how many minutes did TJ play vs. DMO ? I know TJ had 12 rebounds and I believe DMO had 4. Was there a huge minutes played differential...did Portland rebound with less effort while TJ was in ? Very disappointed in DMO for a host of games lately.
