Best of luck to Andre and if we don't win it, I hope he wins a ring. Can't hate on a guy for going to a playoff contender with an elite QB.

I hereby declare this as TEXANS mourning day...

... and will predict ANDRE JOHNSON retires before finishing his 48 game-contract with the Colts.

The Colt needed to really address their defense. This ain't Madden.

No excuse for being an ass but he was in high school. Most people I hang around with consider to be nice and I have had my times when I was a complete ass.

eh whatever. He basically just replaces Reggie Wayne -- I'm not sure the Colts are significantly better with this addition. Plus AJ's hammies are unreliable

    this

signing Andre doesn't really address any problems the colts had. Reggie was a pretty good #2 last season when healthy, Andre might be a marginal upgrade, but I don't think he makes them considerably better

The only additions that make them noticeably better this year are the signing of Trent Cole and the return of Robert Mathis.

Good for Andre - I hope he puts up a lot of stats in Indy to further his hall of fame resume. Might even root for Indy if we are out of the playoffs, but that will be hard to do.

I'm happy for AJ80. He has suffered to not have a good quality QB under center to throw to him. He finally has that opportunity and I hope he shines.....just not against us.

    Good luck to him.

That said, I think Indy is kind of in the same shoes as the Texans were during their division winning years (yeah, the couple we had). They look good on paper, but they have no edge to them, and their elite quarterback can tend to gold under pressure. I don't buy putting Luck up there with the Rodgers, Bradys, and Mannings of the league yet. As someone else said, they need a defense. I don't see them getting past the tougher teams in the AFC. Andre would have been better served on the Broncos in my opinion.

Well, can you blame him after Ryan Fitzpatrick / Ryan Mallet / Case Keenum / Tom Savage?
