Up to $15.9MM in space before Hoyer and draft pool. So likely have another $8MM or so to spend if we were to stand pat with Joseph and Graham.
Would like to see less Swearinger personally, so I'd be happy if Lewis was back AND they signed a guy like Moore.

If getting 2 meaningless 7th rounders and a bag of cookies will get you excited, I suggest you should look at Rick Smith's 2nd and 4rd draft pick history.
This is the type of crap that Texans fans need to get away from. 7th rounders aren't meaningless. Where do you think Newton came from? Got damn. So sick of this woe is me our FO is awful stuff. Can't change the past.
If BOB's idea of building a Patriot's rejects team in here and hope we will get the same success like the Hawks copying the same from the Spurs, well, good luck with that.
Obviously you missed the point. The point being : signing Fritz is not a wise move from the get go and it proved it gave the Texans nothing more than a mediocre performance which you have no hopes for the future. Hence, by glorifying whatever we got from trading him away is just silly, its a mistake from the start, just be glad that it doesn't end up with a tragedy.
It wasn't a mistake at all. Got a solid year from here last year (the best of his career).... growth from the OL, Hopkins, rejuvenated Foster, etc.. a lot of that would not have been able to be said with a full year from freaking Tom Savage.
If they can get an OLB and safety from that remaining amount, that would be awesome. Would still have to address NT and ILB though.

Wow, Cortland...nice way to go out. Classy dude, as always. Funny to see that getting his ass kicked is still at the forefront of his mind. After all these years, it's still fresh enough that he has to address it during his farewell statement.
How sad is that when a player you mentioned whose having a career year in a team and then got traded for a bag of chips? Every extra minutes Fritz played in this team means another minute of delay for the Texans to try out Savage, Mallets, or any walk in from the street like Jimmy, Tommy or Sunny, who may have 0.0000001% chance to be the next franchise QB of this team. The real issue with some of the Texan fans is the loser mentality and failed to realize what the future goal is : to win a championship.
Deadspin's headline for the article is hilarious. "Cortland Finnegan Retires, Remains In Denial About Time He Got Beat Up."
Signed hoyer and mallet. Interested in wilfork. Traded Keemun to Rams and Fitz to Jets. Brooks reed signed with Atlanta.
