And yet there's still infinite more Texans talk then Rockets+Astros combined. Even if its "negative" buzz, its still buzz.
It is.... and its only getting bigger and bigger as the NFL stretches things out. The NFL will eventually be a "year-round" story right up till OTA's/Training camp.... and the other sports will have to deal with the decreased exposure.
I heard l law professor once say "There are some crimes where being innocent isn't a valid defense." I think it was said with respect to pedophilia, but probably applies to rape as well. Once somebody craps in the punch bowl, you can't remove the turd and drink the remaining good punch. The whole bowl is permanently turd punch, even if you could prove the absence of turd molecules in any one cup taken from the bowl. If Winston ever even looks at a woman cross-eyed, you'll be seeing stories about "rape allegations". Murmur, murmur. The only way Winston will escape it is if he never ever gets in any trouble over anything ever again, thus never giving writers a chance to pull it out. Would you like to make a bet on that proposition? Not saying it's right. Just saying that is how it is and that is how the Texans will calculate it.
I actually started getting oversaturated this past year or two. Too much talk about the same crap. I think I'm becoming a bit more casual of an nfl fan and less excited looking forward to Texans games. But my general nfl interest is pretty high. I guess that's better for the nfl.
No idea; although we won't find out until the draft when or if they get Mariota. Still in the mix to get Murray
Do you trade for Bradford and re-sign Sanchez if you plan on drafting a QB in the 1st round? Just weird.
Hoyer had very few offensive weapons to work with in Cleveland (especially with Gordon out) and had a complete circus with Manziel on the sidelines. A change of scenery and fresh start could be highly beneficial for him. Not a bad risk reward signing, in my opinion.
I was just looking at last years game logs and Hoyer was good last year before the Mack injury. That's encouraging. Still not worth $6MM though.

Since this is the final year of Bradford’s contract, I think you might if you plan on having Sanchez around to push the youngster and mentor him as backup. If Keenum can get you a 7th rounder next year, I imagine Fitzpatrick could bring something at least slightly better.
