Yeah, I understood the rules. The way the draft board went with my draft positioning, I just didn't think I had much of a chance.

So I'm just having fun with it. Old Stockton probably isn't too far behind some of the other available PGs, so I take him because of "chemistry."

The top players available were Roy and Ginobili, and I already picked Ray Allen first. I needed David Robinson to fall, but he didn't. So my team was already screwed anyway.

 

Alonzo and Robinson are OTB, I'm open to trading one of them.

 

I don't do trades. To me it messes up the balance of the draft. I'll stick with my crummy team.

 

Waiting almost 3 rounds for my pick sucks.

 

But it looks like the trade will work out fine for both RedNation and me.

Why did you go with bogut over camby? I thought for aure you were going to snatch him up. IMO camby is clearly the better player

I guess I'll just take melo.

 

I like Bogut much more. If he wasn't available, I would've picked a SF, probably Ron Artest, but I'm torn when it comes to SFs, so many choices, none is perfect.

Bogut is really perfect for my team, kind of like Chauncey Billups, he brings all the defense and toughness I need out of that position and still makes the offense better because he's skilled and very unselfish.

I think I was saved from myself when Dikembe got picked. I definitely would've taken him because of nostalgic reasons, Mt.Mutombo+Iverson. But Bogut is just a great fit for this team.

 

I'd trade 6/7 for a 5.
