    I'm referring to countries like Mexico and the United States. Why limit yourself to central and south?

    So, what I'm curios to know is how you know they were Central or South Americans? You didn't get any calls from Mexicans?

    Lmao, I know well that Mexico is part of North America but not Central America hence the reason I asked why he wasn't addressing the question to Mexicans as well.

    I just googled mexico part of central america and there were over 100 million hits so I can't be the only one. but yeah, i really didnt know or probably forgot that Mexico is not part of central america

    Yep. We have a Uruguayan friend who loved to have her friends over. She would say show up at 2, but we learned not to get there before 3:30. Even then, we'd be among the first to arrive (yes, most of her friends were also Latino).

    My wife is Brazilian and it would drive her crazy (Brazilians also having a loose grasp on punctuality).

    Hell, this friend of ours. Had her daughter's quincianera. Invitation said 7 pm. We said, Eff it, show up nearly two hours late, you know how she is. We showed up at almost 9 and they still were only just setting up.
