Yeah, Jonathan Banks killed it last night. That raw emotion out of him was so pure because until that moment throughout BB you never saw Mike crack, not even a little bit even when the gun was barreling down on him. Just an insanely good episode.
F****** flawless episode last night! Jonathan Banks was incredible AF! Had to look up who played as mike for the first time. That's how good of a performance he put on last night. Did not see it coming from him. I thought he was just another tough guy. Johnathan motherF****** Banks!
So so so good. All my doubts about this show are completely gone now. I am 100% on board. Getting the same type of chills I got from Breaking Bad. Such solid writing, acting, and directing. Unreal.
He's in his late 30's in that pic taken in roughly 84/85. Add another 30 yrs to him and he's pushing 70. Add me to the list of really f'in floored by him finally showing raw, real emotions.
Great episode. We were all watching and debating if he were really drunk or not, then BOOM he pulled the pistol.
He had to be drunk enough to convince the bartender and those two cops to believe he can't hold a pistol and aim right. He probably sober up right before closing hours to finish what he came for. It sucks that his son die for nothing just like mike. Like father like son.
Saul being in that room had nothing to do with helping out Mike and everything to do with him learning about Mike's past.
So what was the extent of Mike's plan at the bar? He couldn't expect the cops to pick him up as he walked home.
Yeah, but he had to get them to pick him up--that very night--as he was already booked for Albuquerque. Just seems like too many things had to fall in place, like with the guy in the alley.
Sure he did. He acted wasted, and threatened them, so they really had no choice. I could see it coming from a mile away.
Yeah, once he's in the car, fine. But how could he know they'd be driving down that street at that time?
