OKC will ride Durant all the way to free agency

Their best hope at keeping him is to win a title, they've got a better shot than Cleveland did when it rolled that dice

Lol, yeah right... Only way he gets traded is when he's a FA and it's a S&T.

I don't see him pulling hard for a trade next year, and unless this foot injury is worse than expected and his career is in danger (I don't think it is, but always worried about those types) any owner would wait for him to decide what he wants. I mean when he signed his last deal he didn't do the whole decision bull**** lebron did. He's about his brand, and the only way I see him leaving is through FA, and so far he's been pretty damn loyal to OKC, but maybe the Harden thing still has him pissed him off.

Lol, the kobe thing was close (at least discussed) so I'll give you that... But come on, the S&T on. LeBron is stretching... It's basically a way the team gets something instead of nothing, if Cleveland doesn't do that trade when LBJ was FA, Miami would just work harder or big 3 takes a little less.

Presti will lose his job regardless of what goes down. Whether they trade KD or whether they lose him. Unless their return nets some miraculous diamond in the roughs like a reverse Harden trade, or if KD dies after he leaves. The Harden trade alone is still being talked about and Presti is still ridiculed, what will happen if they lose Durant for whatever reason?

Any scenario where KD leaves OKC means Presti loses his job and OKC goes back Seattle!

    Right guys, Right?!

Obviously, I'd do anything to get Durant, but these foot issues are really concerning. We don't need another Yao.

Man, I know... Durant is great, but foot injuries we know all too well about... Hopefully not the start of something serious.

OKC may not want to be traded, but if Durant wants out, they will have no choice. Either that or risk losing him for nothing.

Hmm, seems like they wouldn't trade Durant, but is he going to want a salary and stuff? They don't like that in OKC.

they won't trade him before summer 2016, meaning they're only trading him if absolutely forced to at the last second in a S&T

His trade value goes way down if he's going to leave in free agency anyway and the trade partner doesn't have a committee. Not like Cleveland is going to give them Lebron for a 1/2 year rental of Durant.

There's basically no reason whatsoever any team will need to do a s&t, the huge cap space increase will allow pretty much the entire league to find room if need be.
