I prefer a place eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and neither entered into the thoughts of any man, something truly new

We don't even know if there is an afterlife if we would maintain our individuality.

But one thing I wonder is if we were to have an afterlife I wonder if we would transcend feelings all together.

That's interesting. It's truly is faith than since you simply cannot know. (which make any descriptions of it rather pointless)

This is also quite the opposite of Buddhism, which said, use all your senses and you can get to a point of the true nature of things and reach a level of nirvana. Where it might be similar to phrase above is, that level is not comprehensible (so not seen, not heard, not mind or thought). Even the subtle levels prior to nirvana is described as not comprehensible and is something that can only be known when "you" know it.

BF was a weirdo. The guy loved to make fart and poop jokes, and he got laid a ton with a ton of young women. Really. He was like 1/2 pimp daddy, 1/2 creepy uncle.

If you were BF in a previous life, I would suggest finding a good therapist ASAP.

Thought experiment: What is the difference between a collective afterlife and merely returning to the universe (unconscious death)?
