Yep. I've heard from multiple friends associated with fraternities that this chant is common at many of the SAE chapters in the south.
I find it cringe worthy that many of these individuals in OU are like "Oh what... this is going on... I had no idea man... I condemn them..." when they knew quite well how racist frats such as SAE are. This goes with many southern universities. Only when it becomes public do individuals "condemn". Props to the guy who posted the video though it could have been an idiot who self-incriminated himself thinking the interwebs would be okay with the chant.
and every other southern state that has large swaths of populations that still waive around the Confederate flag as if it is some sort of symbolism of "Souther Pride".
Despicable but hardly surprising. These Southern white frats full of collegiate idiots? Most of them being entitled douches? I bet you can go to any campus and find racist garbage being spewed.
It doesn't help that the majority of "non-racists" are enablers and think race baiting is funny or inconsequential and harmless. "It's just a joke bro!" Doesn't help that most everyone in frats are rich, entitled, white kids and never been in a position to empathize with minorities.
