Are we just going to ignore the fact that we still have no franchise QB?

    No kidding!

Imagine the threads we'd have if Johnny Manziel....

Your slams at Bridgewater are getting stale. At least Minn has their QB on their roster which is more than can be said for the Texans who currently list 4 jerseys at QB. Right now in BoB's offense Alex Smith 2.0 would look pretty damn good. No matter how the defense is, the offense will still have to put points on the board.

That wasn't a "slam" on him, just an accurate description of his ceiling. Anyway, let's move on, talking about Minnesota's new game manager is boring.

If we get Hoyer, we're set.

The Brian Hoyer talk is leverage to work out a cheaper deal with Mallett. Mallett wants to play for the Texans and they know this. This is Rick Smith masterminding the situation. lol.

Except because he's Rick Smith, we'll lose out on both.

Rick Smith the contract negotiator is much better than Rick Smith the talent-evaluator (which I don't think he's ever been the main guy to do that anyways).

Can't recall a key FA the Texans wanted to keep that still ended up leaving... likewise, can't recall a free agent they went after hard that they didn't get (including Ed freakin Reed).

Hoyer is really terrible, that statement wasn't an endorsement of Keenum as much as it was pointing out just how awful Hoyer is.

In fact, the best thing you can say about Hoyer is that he's better than Manziel but that says absolutely nothing at all.

If he is, then it's not by much. Neither are better than Fitz and that's sad.
