Kerr is an idiot based on that. The GM other than signing other players at this point has no impact on the Championship.

Now if Mchale was sheering for Harden to be MVP he would have a point, but the GM? Might be good at x's and o's but no real world logic in that statement.

Morey is a PR hoe. He needs to cut it back a bit with trying to power the media through his tweets.

I remember his stupid campaign trying to get Kevin McHale as coach of the year. Kevin McHale as COY? Give me a break....

    That's delusional.

God forbid a guy advocate for his colleague......the horror! You're acting like Twitter is costing us practice time, or points in a real game. It's free, it's harmless, and it's obviously above your head. Between you and cheke, the GARM is a cemetery of rational thought.

Excellent! You are correct. Not to mention that Morey isn't a coach.

I heard Kerr had to go to the bathroom and take a really big dump the other day. What the hell, Kerr? I thought you were focused on other stuff?!

    I actually agree with you.

When you are only getting out of the first round once in the last 17 years, while people also crowning you as the king and pioneer of analytics in this sport.

Its better shut up and let the numbers speak for itself sometime.

We are already the well known villain in this league, why do you want more love for a popularity contest?

based on your posts (seems like everyone one of them) you're anti-morey. you can easily be labeled a morey-hater. so just like morey you have your own tendencies but at least moreys are positive while you have a tendency to be negative or be a hater.

You're wrong. I'm not a Morey hater. I appreciate the job he has done here but at the same time I believe he has made several mistakes during his tenure and is not the perfect GM as most homers here see it. You can't say anything negative about Morey here it seems.

His over the top twatter and PR campaign screams "see how great I am and how great I have done" when in reality he has one playoff success to show circumstances aside. Let his marketing team do the "Harden MVP" campaign or "Kevin McHale COY campaign (LOLOLOL)." If the results are there, others will recognize the good. What's with all this self promotion. You don't have to push your agenda down others throats.

Yes and no. Mark Jackson's Warriors were not too shabby either. Steve Kerr is decent at what he does, but let's not go around talking about him like he turned the Pelicans into the Warriors here. He took a team in the middle of the pack, and with some good coaching, injuries and old age of the top seeded teams, and monster lights out shooting with Curry and Klay and made a great team. It's a dynamic equilibrium.

As a GM of the Suns he made some good calls, and some not so good calls (picking up an old Shaq might be one of those not so good calls). Sarver really crippled him on that team too, so I'm not sure what his record actually says.

Also, if you look at my previous posts, I was actually suggesting the Rockets pick up Kerr as a coach a long time ago. He's had training under three prolific coaches in Lute, Phil and Pop.

But back to this comment. It's stupid. If he believes Curry is better than Harden have the balls to say it. If he doesn't, say nothing. This statement is douchey because he doesn't prop up Curry, nor does he give Harden respect. He draws attention to himself, and that's pretty much it.

If they're so confident about Curry winning it, they wouldn't be whining.

They know that Harden's campaign was gaining ground. well, until the CLE and MEM games, that is. Who can quantify how much damage the suspension and non-call did?

Harden and the Rockets just need to focus on winning the right way again. Those who know basketball favor him as the MVP. WB may have the gaudy numbers but OKC is not winning consistently.

I don't think anyone thinks Morey is perfect, no one is.... even Jerry West made a number of bad decisions and trades/signings/draft picks. Ultimately you judge a GM on the overall body of his work over a long period of time. There are very few that I would right now say "Yeah, he is better than Daryl Morey."..... circumstances also play a large part.

As far as DM talking too much, it doesn't bother me. It brings attention to the Rockets and their players and Morey genuinely cares about the fans and organization.

You're right. Kerr is comparing apples to oranges. It's not like McHale is out there stumping for Harden.

AND Morey was engaging in a back and forth about the MVP with the GSW GM at Sloan.

hater or homer, same to me. bottom line anybody using their brain can see morey has done a good job with the circumstances he faced including injuries and rocket hate from the nba. he's a damn good gm and he's as close as he's ever been to the ultimate prize. we'll see this summer what this team can do.

yeah because Morey is in control of the coaching and the players shooting, rebounding, not making crucial mistakes stuff like that matter, you know actually playing the game? Come on fam.

Kerr should stop bending over so far to converse with Johnson. Might throw out your back, dude.

Conversely, if Harden wins the MVP and the Rockets go further than the Warriors in the playoffs, it'll make Bob Myers look like a chump for not supporting his own player to get the award.

That's fair. But, by that measure Kerr should probably shut the hell up too. The Rockets have at least won a championship in my lifetime.
