When you say "let's," do you mean "everyone except McFail" or what?

Ha, you have a fairly loose definition of must-win. I think every game since the ASB has been mentioned as 'must win' for you. IMO this is far from it BUT certainly should win the games we are favored in if we want to keep HCA (not as critical as last year).

When every game is a must-win, none of them are.

I didn't say ATL was a must win. I don't recall saying that about Cleveland. But with Portland on a roll(Matthews' injury notwithstanding) and in 3rd place and the 2nd seed likely a pipe dream now thanks to the Mauer screwjob, the Rockets have little margin for error if they wanna at least hold onto the 4th seed and home court in Round 1.

So yes, home games against mediocre opponents become must wins. Especially with only 21 games left in the season.

Exactly. You go out there to win everytime regardless of opponent. The west is stacked and every team has some sort of matchup advantage on the Rockets (and vice versa), so not sure why everyone is worried about seeding.

We don't want to lose three in a row.

Let's see if the Rockets bigs show up (I'm looking at you two, DMo and TJ).

We can survive without Bev. But not having Jones against that frontline would be a major problem. When did he injure his back, BTW? This is the first I've heard about it.

Keep losing might not be so bad. With Clippers rising, Blazers probably falling, getting the 4th or 5th seed to play Blazers or Mavs would be great. I would love to then play OKC or Warriors.

Suddenly this is a very important game. Shockingly, the lottery is only a few games away. The West is very tight from top to bottom. We are 3 1/2 games out of seventh place. We could get there in no time. Every game is critical at this point.

    The Pistons frontcourt is scary
Unless D Mo plays harder and starts to box out and contest shots, we'll lose

This kind of mentality always drives me nuts. Losing and hoping to gain a "favorable" match up. Our series against Portland last year should have eliminated this nonsense.

Trap game? Refs up to no good again? We'll see this and more tonight!
