I have no reason to doubt that O'B is doing what it takes to be a winner. The keep AJ fanatics are just being silly if they actually want whats best for the team. That being said please don' t prove me wrong by signing Welker.

Obviously you care because you're the one who brought up Nuk being an elite WR... And we'll see how right you are when the season starts. Hopefully they'll put the cap space they saved with AJ to good use.

He was rank 2nd worse receiver behind only Cecil Shorts last year, I hope we have a better replacement for far less money, not even counting Hoppy.

It's either put together an elite defense or find a franchise QB. Franchise QB's are harder to find, but are much easier to keep on your team than maintaining an elite defense. The 49ers will fall off in the next few seasons, but the Colts will be consistently in the playoffs for the next 10 years.

This is just really sad. If you want to cut or trade the guy, just do it. Don't threaten to cut his time and bench him. That's just wrong. They could have handled him the way the Colts handled Peyton or the Panthers handled Steve Smith. Just wrong. And I hope they have better WRs or TEs waiting to play for them. Don't give me that 2nd worst receiver nonsense. If you tell me you feel more comfortable starting Keyshawn Martin or Posey instead of AJ, you're either a liar or delusional.

Agree with this sentiment. His contract his situation has sucked for a while, but just be upfront and release him.

We'll see how good he still is. I seriously doubt Posey or Keshawn is better

If you're rationalizing why we should keep one of the highest paid receivers with one of the worst performances then have at it, good thing O'B isn't as sentimental. It's whats best for the "team". For all we know O'B set him up to push his ownself out of Houston. How about Johnson saying, "hey coach whatever is best for the "team" but I'm going to prove that I warrant more touches"? Maybe that's all that O'B was fishing for and it didnt happen. I hope the Colts do get him so it will that much sweeter when we win the division.

He wasn't worth the cap hit. The Texans did not want him starting or on the bench for that cap hit. The whole thing was so they could cut him, which they should just do without all this silliness.

It would be tough to see Andre in a Colts uniform. I would never be able to look at him the same way.

Right? With Hilton and Wayne, the WR spot is the least of their worries. And also, did I mention they have Wayne? They already have the veteran WR quota filled.

They have money to spend. And it might just be a 2 or 3 year deal. Can you imagine Reggie Wayne on one side, Andre on the other and TY Hilton in the middle? Scary.

I think a better spot for him is Green Bay, if he can stand the cold. That team is just as close to the superbowl as Indy is. They were almost in last year.

You've been pretty wrong on Fitz, DMo, and Tjones. Hope you're wrong on Andre being a player who can't improve a roster.

Not nearly as scary as Luck, Hilton, DeMarco Murray and an improved OL. I've been saying it, too but bobby is 100% right; the Colts spending $10MM on their 2nd best WR is good news for the Texans.

Everyone: stop freaking out about Indianapolis.

The Colts have won 11 games each of the past 3 seasons. A WR2, no matter how good, probably doesn't move their needle much. Improved running game? Pass protection? Defense? Those are areas of much greater concern and, if smartly addressed, could turn them into true juggernauts. So if they want to throw $10MM at *any* WR, that's a good thing.

Did I miss the memo that the 2015 Texans roster is complete? Have the draft and free agency been cancelled?

Scary 5 years ago. You know Wayne will be 37 this year, right? He had a grand total of 1 catch in 3 playoff games last year. He's contemplating retirement...

If the colts sign AJ, it will probably be as Wayne's replacement.
