What makes you think Terrance can't play some point forward? I actually think he can. But why take the ball out of Harden's hands.

    Offensively
Both guys are a bit undersized for traditional PFs
    Both guys are explosive athletes
Both guys have great handles for big man
    Both guys have shaky jumpers
Both guys are great finishers around the basket

I would say offensively they are very much alike.

Third best player last year was Pat Beverley. And Morey may have projected Jones to be the third best player this season.

I would say they are nothing alike!

And, serious question, how big is a 'traditional PF'??

Tonight would be the perfect time to see if Jones can play point forward.

Yes, because if TJ can't assist his way to a victory against the best team in the east while missing our two superstars it's a pretty good indication he sucks. The sarcastic rolleyes smilie is too good for you.

If Jones can't outplay Horford and Millsap while leading the team in assists, what's he good for? Let's cut him.

Sounds like we agree that a lot of his box score productivity has to do with playing off others.

However, I actually wasn't being sarcastic. I think the team should explore every facet of every player's game when they get a chance, especially if they show they have a particular skill. I have wished for a long time that we could see Jones running the show up top just to see what he looks like in that role. We've never really seen him do that. What if..............he's actually got that much talent? That would be a plus. A huge, huge plus.

That's why I want to see him up top. I know he can't shoot it. So perhaps if this aspect of his game is in it's infancy and we can see that it can be grown into something THEN he has that much better a chance of really being something special.

It's all about the Rox and what's best for this team Batman. No vendetta against him.....contrary to what many here believe.

Players put up better numbers when playing with great players? How insightfull. Where would this board be without you.

Enjoying the season unfettered by a guy that's so down on one of our best players he's like gnats on a camping trip.

It's also a great chance to see bholic's hero D-Mo outplay two all-star forwards, leading all scorers to an easy victory over a more successful team than ours is at full-strength, only this time without H&H. If he doesn't do that, should we waive D-Mo, holic? Maybe we should tank.

Let's cut him anyway he has no skills then this summer we should have enough to give Beverly the Max.

No way. "_ones" lacks a jumper. We need to save that money for Rubio!

Rubio would just pull another Bosh, my heart can't handle another superstar saying no to us.

You cannot be serious and believe that the few mistakes Morey has made justifies your stance that you know better than he does. You are delusional brother.

The moves Morey made after the career enders to Yao and McGrady have been historical. Acquiring multiple assets to facilitate trade for Harden, convincing Dwight to sign after countless times he refused to be traded to Houston, NOP 1st for Asik, not re-signing Parsons to max, signing Ariza for peanuts, trading for Brewer, signing Smoove for nothing, on and on.

Rockets are knocking on the door to 2nd seed of the ultra competitive West and Harden is leading the MVP race. It is a magical time to be a Houston Rockets fan and all you can do is find things to piss and moan about????

It is time to embrace your inner Morey, not defecate on it.

Actually now that you mentioned it, I am considering this game in light of DMo's future. DMo is the logical guy that should have an explosion of production with Harden out. I am going to be very interested in seeing how he looks tonight. I like DMo but I'm not sold on his upside either at this point. Still want to see more. Don't know if he has the alpha, "I'm gonna make my opponent have to deal with me", mentality that a top star has to have.

    Thank you very much.

You must be delusional if you think I don't appreciate Morey. I think he's the best GM in the league. You apparently have no clue what my post was saying. So go defacate on yourself. Or rather, continue wiping your defacation all over yourself while you sit in an empty tub....or something like that.

    Agree to disagree.

But to answer your question I would consider PFs that are 6'9 and shorter to be undersized.

LOL. That last part describes you to a "T". And I actually enjoy the back and forth, the ideas you bring, just not when you fall in love with your positions and try to ram it down everyone else's throat.
