I'm sorry, but this is a really annoying post. That tweet has been posted 1000s of times and just because you didn't know, you feel compelled to clutter a thread talking about it

    So sigh

If someone approaches a person on the ground they will extend their leg to shove the person away.

Harden didn't aim for the balls. He was looking at the ground when he did it. It can be seen on the replay. He saw a guy who just knocked him to the ground approaching him. His foot extension hit James in the gonads.

It isn't cool and Harden was wrong to do it. But it still wasn't worse than what LBJ did to Beverley.

Well, it's done, so arguing about it won't matter at this point.

If McHale were to "sit" starters it would definitely be because he wanted to make a statement. There is no precedent for him doing that. I think he will expect the players playing to do their best to win the game tomorrow night. If nothing else, it will be another step to unify the players. That helped the first championship team, when they got called "Choke City."

Only issue is there was no punishment of any form for LeBron's pinning of Bev.

Hopefully KJ gets burn tomorrow - shouldn't be low on defense, but our offense could get ugly...

It's not my interpretation. It's the NBAs. You're the one who is going against the rule, not me

Edit hold on. You are The Cat. What's your take. Flying all day ad on a cellphone. I didn't see your take

Please. In fairness to my respect to you, show me your take on this or I will categorize you as someone against the NBAs ruling for silly and naive reasons

Earn my respect on this or stop responding to me

    :)

    Cheers The Cat

LeBron shoving Beverley back into the ground obviously wasn't a basketball play either but does he get in trouble?

Oh, so the three on-court officials yesterday went against the rule after going through an extensive review of the incident?

They aren't the ones in charge of the sanctions against Harden today. Higher ups.

Will people reconsider Harden for MVP because of this? Yes, it sounds ridiculous but the media is taking this to the next level. They aren't even talking about his play.

I think a lot of folks are missing the real point here. The on-court officials yesterday -- guys who are paid a lot of money to understand the rules and enforce them -- had a front-row seat to the incident, then stopped the game for an extended review. The conclusion, as they told the Cavs? No intent. If it was, it would've been a Flagrant 2 and ejection. It was simply reckless, which was a Flagrant 1. This wasn't just based on a quick scan, either. This was after the officials went to the monitor and viewed every angle of the situation.

The NBA today, using the same angles, overruled their own officiating crew. There is only one of two logical reasons for this. Either the crew is grossly incompetent and needs to be fired (doubtful), or the NBA considered additional information in the process that the officials did not have at the time.

What additional information? LeBron's sore-loser whining like a spoiled, entitled brat.

Walking your nuts right up to a guy's foot when he has his leg extended 97%, after you just tackled him to the ground, and he's fatigue-woozy and full of adrenaline, and you're still hovering and crowding up on a guy 3 seconds after the first of 6 whistles blew....man that's your fault, and then you go on to flop like crazy in complete disrespect to the brotherhood of men who have taken a true shot to the boys. That's not a basketball play either.

Harden deserved space after being shoved to the ground. His arms were occupied by holding the ball.

Get off Lebrons nuts. Harden's toes were there for maybe a millisecond so take a hint from the actual perpetrator.
