Harden gained no ground from last afternoon's game. Amazing. Absouletely amazing.

Ariza was great but the team shared Lebron until the 4th, Tjones had him, Harden, Smith, Ariza.....

Team defense for sure, but Ariza was the workhorse.

Good discussion on First Take about the game, Harden, and Lebron from 3 guest contributors. They didn't seem to get the memo that the Rockets beating the Cavs is a bad thing. Cari tried but failed to derail the conversation with her hate for Dwight.

For all the hate Skip Bayless gets...Cari Champion is by far the worst part about First Take. She is shameless.

She's hot as hell, but yeah, she is annoying. That whole show is annoying.

ESPN with the biased reporters, get rid of that ESPN LA, Dallas etc.

So glad it wasn't Steven Smith and Skip, it would've been about their ego and big mouths just making dumb statements.

Yeah, she was really on point, who is she? See, it's funny how good a show can be if you just put the right people on there. Steven Smith & Skip are the most annoying pieces of garbage when discussing basketball, there's almost 0% truth to what they say, all random bull**** to get people to talk about them. Shows you what ESPN thinks of the audience...

I really like Freddie Coleman too. I don't watch First Take that often but the clips I see with him almost always makes me think "that guy's much smarter than the avg. ESPN talking head".

Her knowledge of basketball is fantastic.

I too am glad it wasn't Skip and Steven A today, as it would be....

Steven A - "Harden still doesn't play defense! (Screaming it of course.)
Skip - "You know what.....(Insert completely useless comments here)

Great discussion all around today, but Keri does bother me with her hate on Dwight. Could you seriously say he's not a game changer...but Irving is? Yes Irving is outstanding, but with Dwight out there, those aren't missed layups....those are alley oops or catch and dunks. Also there would be no outstanding differential in the rebounding category.

    Just my two cents...

Was at the game yesterday. It was too intense for me to let my feels out on clutchfans like I usually do.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Kate and Freddie. What a nice change from the usual two clowns on that show. If only ESPN cared about the intelligence of their audience. Smith and Bozo would be history, with Kate and Freddie taking over. May as well wish for the Moon.

They should talk about the no call when James grabbed Hardens arm in the last plays in OT..cost us possession and then 3 PTS if I'm not mistaken

Went to the game yesterday. I was glad to hear how loud the crowd was when LeBron was at the line, and the MVP chants every time Harden went to the line. Not what I was expecting after watching the games on TV this season. Hope it's not a one time, LeBron in town only, type deal.

Yup everyone was giving love except Cari. She can't hide her bias at all. I really like Kate tho.

Maybe H-Town is too "urban" for Hubie...
Just came across this Hubie Brown quote from '79.
Man, the things you could get away with saying back then [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Old news, but some of the young guys/gals in here probably never heard it

    "C'mon now, pass the ball!"

Almost everyone on Around the Horn thinks Dwight is a non factor. Pointed out that Kyrie wasn't playing; it took Rockets OT to barely beat the Cavs.

Everyone seems to forget that Harden has a talented roster behind him but no real stars to run with yet he and the Rockets beat a team with Lebron James and Kevin Love on the roster... Even with Kyrie out, Rockets still had to play a team with two STARS! SMH, man

The media gives the Rockets no excuses this is why I love that the Rockets play as if they don't have one.

Go deep in the playoffs and they'll have no choice but to acknowledge us.
