I think the kick was intentional, though he seemed to pull back a little at the end -- either because he realized kicking someone was a bad idea, or because he realized he got the groin and hadn't intended to hit there. Why should Lebron have been ejected though?
if this is even a debate, than the NBA should just disband. Seriously a "kick" to the "king" and Harden should be suspened?
OMG he flopped. He looked down and noticed he got kicked in the leg before he reacted. ****ing p***y.
LeBron is such a great actor... Once he realized Harden's foot touched him he looked up at the ref and fell back like he was shot.
A "kick' to the nether regions no matter how hard or soft should be given a suspension due to precedence. Perennially, I don't mind one bit. Harden could use a break to rest.
Yup. For someone who just got kicked in the nads, he sure was able to stand around and complain about it. Most men with nads would have fallen or at least gone to a knee to regain their composure, or at least make sure their junk is still intact.
If he gets suspended, that might be a good thing. Rockets experience for KJ, and Harden will be better rested for the more important Grizzlies game.
ATL game rollcall? lol I will be there too.. so I am hoping and praying that harden won't be suspended either. I bought a Fear the Beard shirt just for tomorrow!!
if they suspend harden they should suspend lebron too he is the one pushed harden down harden is trying to protect the ball and raise his leg it was lebron who walked right into his leg

Kevin McHale said he hasn't heard from the league regarding James Harden's kick to LeBron James' groin. #Rockets
— Calvin Watkins (@calvinwatkins) March 2, 2015

I've watched it a few times today and I hate to say it as a fan but Harden should be suspended. If you look at the video Harden is very aware of where James is and is turning his head while he's straightening his leg. Now it wasn't a very hard kick but looking at it I don't see how it was anything else. Compare it to Ndamukong Suh's kick on Schaub. Ndamakong Suh kicks Schaub much harder but there Suh isn't even looking at Schaub while Harden is. In my opinion both are plays suspension worthy.
Clutchfans was overwhelmingly in favor of suspending Kevin Love for a similar bang-bang dirty play also spurred by overly physical play and a no-call and also defensible as a borderline accident and also more of a snap bad decision than a premeditated act and also receiving no ejection in-game.(Scola stomp) I wouldn't be surprised or offended at all to hear it's either 1 game or a hefty fine. Bottom line it was a bad decision by the Beard. I don't think he's a dirty player, it was just a heat-of-battle bad decision.
the thing is though, in my opinion, he was just retaliating from the take-down by Lebron, and it accidentally grazed the "royal nuts" of the NBA..... But some of the people are right, it is a mistake by the Beard, I just hope NBA slaps him on the wrist a little with a fine and call it a day.
Wade got 1 game for a REAL kick in the nuts http://youtu.be/JJ9RfAG87Qw so i dont expect Harden to be suspended
This. Let's have some perspective on our hometown bias. If it were reversed, and Harden got kicked, we'd be screaming bloody murder. There's nothing to suggest he's a dirty player like past incidents indict the likes of CP3 and Wade, so at the league office can take that into account. He might have gotten ejected, so we dodged a bullet, but LeBron could have also easily received a 2nd tech at multiple junctures during the game. A game suspension with a back to back in a brutal part of the schedule could be a blessing in disguise. I can't think of a better time for it to happen. This is where someone like Pop might intentionality rest his starters.
