Honestly. . . ... TJones is becoming HORRY-ish not as far as BIG SHOTS but as a guy that does a bit of everything a team needs Mr. Johnny on the Spot Rocket River
He's been making some clutch FTs lately too. He did split them in OT, but he made 2 in the 4th quarter if I'm not mistaken. Props to Smith for making 2 FTs in OT himself.
Terrence _ones is unskilled and not a difference maker. He can be replaced by any of 250 other NBA players. - Basketballholic, jpotomic
I think morey has seen enough. Tjones is better than dmo. I would like to keep both but the truth is we will only be able to keep one.
Interesting how bbh goes dark after games that prove he doesn't know what he's talking about. He'll just resurface later hoping people forget to spew more nonsense.
I did like it though when Love was hitting those 3s, TJ finally had a "eff it, I can do that too" look to him and came down and hit one. I don't think Love hit another 3 after that.
Jones' hustle was very important to this team tonight. I've been in Motiejunas' camp but I'm converting back. I like both guys as complements but Jones has been hot.
Yet another great game by TJones today, really made a difference these past few games, so good to have him back.
Jones is definitely the X factor. I'm starting to wonder if Jones was healthy would it have been different against the Warriors this year. Rox usually owns them when Jones plays. He just gives an added dimension. He missed some gimmies in the 4th but he still was huge.
The fact that there's even discussion surrounding the best PF on our roster is pretty dope. Being able to rotate DMo/TJ/Josh at the 4 is a really nice luxury. Good mix of skills there.
You guys are overreacting. Wait until Terrence Jones plays a big game against a top 4 team in either conference with an all-star power forward. Then you'll see how much he sux. Oh wait, crap. Umm, Anyone could have done what Jones did today? [he'll just keep arguing this because, despite the fact that nobody else HAS done what Jones did, you can't empirically prove nobody else CAN because nobody else got the chance to 'not do what he did'. Circular logic to 'prove' his own point, even though it proves nothing...]
Jones is also very fresh right now. While Dwight and Jones were wearing suits he's been averaging 30 MPG and hasn't missed one. While I thought it was premature to crown D-mo a star during his hot stretches, I think it's equally premature to say Jones has fixed his problems just because he's had a good stretch. If and when Dwight comes back we'll see, but as long as both guys are getting minutes I'm cool.
Unless if D-Mo significantly declines, I'd keep him in the starting lineup. He's starting to make his 3's lately so I think that would be good for spacing.
