my tickets went up $1/game as it has been last 4 seasons

face ranges anywhere from $19 to $59 (Cavs game) for my seats sold individually for games, where I paid $19 for every game for 44 games this season

    2015-2016 $880
    2014-2015 $836
    2013-2014 $792
    2012-2013 $748

Honestly, I'm the least affected of the price hike but they've gone up regardless past 4 seasons after the first 6 seasons, started 06-07, prices never went up

I'm in it for the long run until I can't get someone to get tickets with me. Probably will either downgrade or get 1/2 season if it goes up to the four figure range....

Sorry I had to break the bad news!

    Blah

Rockets are one of the only teams that do their own tix with Flash Seats etc.

Cant find them on NBA Tickets.com

They have a nice profit margin.

Mine went up exponentially to the point that I think they've priced me out of my seats. We are in East Club, Section C119 Row 22. I've had them for 4 years and this year is by far the biggest increase:

    2011-2012: $125/ticket, $5,500/season ticket
    2012-2013: $135/ticket, $5,940/season ticket
    2013-2014: $140/ticket, $6,160/season ticket
    2014-2015: $149/ticket, $6,566/season ticket
    2015-2016: $175/ticket, $7,700/season ticket

cavs, nuggets, jazz also do flashseats also. Flashseats is basically a tech startup that rockets brought into. Flashseats makes a lot of money off this.

I get my season tickets on paper, usually the nice big color tickets with players or logos on them.

this year was the first year they made us get the reg box office paper printed tickets, & people who were new don't think they had a option to get flashseast.

What the hell. I thought NBA owners just signed a TV-mega deal. Lebron warned that next it's the players turn. But I thought fans were also warning the NBA owners that post-mega-TV-deal, fans needed to see that ticket price come down.

You simply can't take a family of 4 to a football or basketball game anymore without sitting in the rafters and still shelling out $300+ dollars.

The Rockets sell out most games so they have zero incentive to lower prices.

It's basic economics. Big market with big names draw better sales than small market with no names. This isn't Minnesota.

I went ahead and refused to renew right now. I'll buy low again in a few years

It'd be nice if there could be stadium expansions like in football, soccer, and baseball. Good for everyone involved if that would be possible.

Could be better yes, but could be worse:

    http://www.statista.com/statistics/193720/average-ticket-price-in-the-nba-by-team-in-2010/

We pay more than most non ultra-premium market teams, but we also have one of the top venues and a very competitive team. Anytime you start to feel bad about your tix just look at the cost of a Texans game or imagine the torture of owning Astros season tix.

I personally am re-upping for next season again, and I am sure that I will once again be glad I did.

In hindsight, was there a surefire move that would've taken us to the finals by exceeding the lux tax cap?
