Now we know why MSNBC just cancelled his show so abruptly. And why he was protesting the Oscars.

    What's a black owned channel?

    Like the owner is black?

Or is the channel completly owned and operated by a company that only hires black employees and turn away non-black applicants?

This is like the Battle of Actium of black media caricatures.

There's nothing ambiguous about the phrase, to the point that your second hypothesis is kind of obtuse. Predominantly black business and colleges are that way for the same reason black neighborhoods are, because everyone else thinks they have better options. You cannot shoe-horn Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo's admissions KPIs into every single discussion about race.

I'm actually more interested in how Sharpton pronounced "frivolous", "deposed", "programming", "unethical", and "our".

That is truly an ignorant statement. Is it the anonymity that makes some of you say this stupid stuff?

Just another right-wing individual potentially butthurt that a Democrat has managed to remain in office for the full two terms. Nothing to see here.

Tables will be turned soon enough, not due to any intrinsic superiority of the GOP but because politics have become fully cyclical.

Yup, the reality is that the best and brightest black students are choosing schools like Harvard, Yale, Chicago and not choosing predominantly black colleges.

The truth is, for a variety of reasons black Americans have little influence or control in business, education and administration and it is looking more and more like the only way that will change will be through assimilation and bi racial families , which will force America to confront the issue.

I have no idea if Sharpton was actually paid off or not. I do know that I really disliked his show 95% of the time. MSNBC is not really an equivalent of Fox News for the left, but Sharpton's show certainly was. Just poor journalism and slanted commentary with little effort to explore both sides of an issue.

Good. Here's hoping he will stay quiet on everything in the future.

There's a thin line between pimps and preachers and prostitutes and the congregation. This dude is a pimp in the pulpit (like a majority of the ministry).

From busted to trying to buy cocaine to a show on television... Only in America.
