    This guy is just straight up horrible right now. Can't believe Dallas gave away a 1st rd pick and Wright for this garbage. He can't shoot, need the ball in his hands, declining defensively, and very difficult to coach. Not worth what he'll be paid this summer.

    Edit - Just saw this was posted in the other Rondo thread. Maybe this deserves it's own thread since numerous posters wanted Rondo on the Rockets and some don't like to read long threads. Anyway, mods can lock this if they feel this is redundant.

    I dropped Rondo in my fantasy basketball league, after suffering through his horrible %% stats for a while, still hoping he would drop the occasional 20 assist game...which he didn't.

    Rondo chose Dallas. The condition of the trade was that he had to agree he'd sign an extension with the team he was traded to.

    Um, no it wasn't. He's going to be a free agent. He has already given interviews where he said that his free agency is not going to be limited to the Mavericks.

    Um yes it was. Rondo needed to be willing to sign an extension with the Mavs for the Mavs to unload what they did. Rondo would be in Sacremento right now if that weren't the case. Of course Rondo's agent want to keep leverage by saying he will consider other options but the post I responed to said "he probably doesn't want to be there". That's just not true.
