Whenever they made the deal with him I remember hearing he was asst coach, but not necessarily a part of the staff. And everyone that's part of the staff gets a ring right? So wouldn't see why he wouldn't get one if it happens. Would be a good problem to have, lol
Great to see both of them working with the Dream. I hope he is guiding them through the mental aspects of the game as well, no one can help them more than Hakeem. Not even McHale. Go TJ! Go D-Mo!
Dwight tried to post up too much and failed after working the Dream. I pray the same does not happen to DMo and T-Jones
He used to be a pupil of his during his Hawks days. He should be working with him too. D-Mo and TJ need more help from him IMO.
D-Mo's post game is quite good, and he can step out and hit a jumper from time to time. Jones does have some post moves too, he will get better too.
He probably thinks what we all think. D-Mo has some great moves and has potential to become a dominating post scorer but needs to get stronger. Jones has great athleticism and shot-blocking skills, but needs to really work to develop a touch from the post. My question to him is "Who he is the best post-scorer on the team in general (i.e. Dwight vs DMo vs Jones)?" I wonder what he really thinks of Dwight.
I'm not sure why Dwight didn't improve afterwards. Lebron owes his championships to his training with Hakeem, but we know how hard Lebron worked to improve his game in that area. Can we say the same about Dwight? I like Dwight, but I'm not sure he has the work ethic that Lebron, Durant, Kobe, and even Harden have.
McHale's moves would have been suffice if the Rockets wanted to play it cheap. I guess McHale can't do his moves with a limp?
I can't get over how massive T Jones hands are. Looking at them next to Dreams its no wonder he blocks so many shots. This is awesome to see
I've said this 200 times but the organization is shooting itself in the foot by having Dwight trained by a guy who fills his head with delusions of grandeur about being the focal point of the offense.
He doesn't have the athletic ability Dream had. That's why Dream was Dream. Balance and agility may not be as easily measured as vertical leap and max bench press but they are just as important when it comes to basketball. In those ways, Dwight is a poor athlete.
