So you are blaming Dwight for last seasons playoffs because it took the team out of rhythm and hurt our transition game?

I think I have officially heard it all. Dwight was by far our best player...offensively and defensively. No blame should be places on Dwight for last years playoffs. You want to blame someone......blame harden, lin, and parsons.

You CANNOT be serious??? Howard's amazingly dominant post-season took the rest of the players OUT OF RHYTHM?? My God, it's official. The GARM has officially become the place where sanity comes to wither away and die. If it wasn't for Dwight, that series would have been over in 4 or 5 games. Instead of blaming the ONE guy who actually showed up to play (on both ends of the court as well), why don't you look at the other 7-8 players who didn't do jack****?

I agree that Dwight needs to cool it with the excessive post-ups, but to say that his success last season was smoke and mirrors is totally asinine.

sick of hearing stuff like this. this is far from the truth. its on players themselves to step it up in the playoffs, its called accountability. when the bright lights of the playoffs turned on, he didn't just nut up like a lot of the players did last year.

Smoke and mirrors... has there ever been a more ridiculous "analysis" on this Forum?

Hi Cyberx or anyone in the know, I just saw per RealGM, that Sixers were willing to trade Joel Embid for a draft pick at this trade deadline. Could this be something on the Rockets radar for draft night? Would they send a pick for someone who was compared to Hakeem in college. It should be worth at least thinking about.

    Well three things.
    a) unless the NOP pick falls into the top 3 the Rockets don't have the assets for trading for Embiid. Even then they likely won't have.
    b) If Hinkie is willing to trade Embidd so soon that is a HUGE red flag right there. It probably means that his injury is worse than previously thought and his weight and lack of motivation issues as reported.
    c) That Forbes report doesn't have a credible source in the first place. More than likely it's a click bait article.

Absolute hogwash!!! Trading MCW made sense based off of what the Sixers currently had...and the projections for MCW werent on par with what the Sixers wanted to accomplish next year.

I will not be surprised if the Sixers have a "Bucks" like showing next year. They have all the pieces in line..now they will have to win some games.

Oh what do you know. Another CF thread full of people using that Portland series as the reason why Dwight can do whatever the hell he wants. Dude could average 5 ppg for 82 games and y'all would bring up the Portland series to show why it doesn't matter lmao

I would. Embiid and their other three to four first round picks will be rookies. Saric won't come over until 2017 and they don't have good veterans- no good FA will be willing to sign there unless they severely overpaid.
They won't make the PO 100% guaranteed.

I didn't see where anyone said Dwight could do whatever the hell he wants. Only you.

Thats what you all are implying. Every time someone says something negative about Dwight it's, "but the Portland series though". I'm not on the bash dwight bandwagon and I'm not the first one to come to his defense. But you guys will use that in every argument and it gets old

    CyberX...

Have you heard any rumblings about Love leaving Cleveland this off-season? Not in regards to Houston but rather just in general.

I ask because everyone on NBA coast to coast were quick and adament about him leaving. Even saying something like all agents and players feel this way and talk about it. (Rough recap)

3-4 pages before he said it's too early yet but so far it looks like he's leaving.

When a poster specifically states that against Portland, Howard caused problems with Houston's transition defense, it is entirely fair to point out that Howard was clearly the best player night in and night out in that series.
