He was our only real shooter. And he showed so much passion after making a good play/shot.

But actually, what happened to Carlos? Is he still recovering? I'd love to have him back.

That would be risky, unless they have someone waiting for them...otherwise they may sign elsewhere, while we're waiting for Dwight.

I mentioned a while back that Delfinogirl, some peope know her here (might be a rowdy), left a comment on IG saying she spoke with Delfino. He said he'd be back around this time and, IIRC, that he was really interested in coming back Houston.

If dwight would stop trying to be dream he could actually be a great post player. Why does he constantly turn and show the ball to the defender? It never ends well. Its one of the most infuriating things! Dwight has the strength to just back the defender down and shoot the jump hook. He's actually looks comfortable when he's doing it. Idk man. I'm writing too much. I just get real frustrated speaking on Dwight's post game. Because he makes it look so hard. It's not, it just takes patience. Watching Dmo post is so refreshing, He always gets in excellent position to score. We've seen some great defenders guard DMO.

We will welcome him back with open arms. But who do we cut?. I don't want to cut Nick Johnson or Capella. I keep coming back to Dorsey.

Dwight, what do you think about playing the Omer Asik role?

There's nothing Harden could have done about Perkins signing w/ the Cavs. His stats will improve being back in the east, and he has a chance at winning a championship w/ Lebron. No brainer.

he sure is. he gets you easy buckets in the paint. you're not winning if you dont have someone like that. its been the same story for okc all these years.

I guess he does get easy buckets in the paint sometimes, but he's one of the worst big men at doing it on the entire roster.

Dwight had prepared a presentation to Morey explaining why he should be used primarily as an offensive force. He can hit the corner 3.

it may not look that great but regardless he's still a difference maker and very much needed.

He's a positive difference maker in the PnR, on the boards, and on defense, he's a negative difference maker when he has the ball in the post.

Then trade him....to me its that simple i don't care who you are.
If he can't sacrifice touches for the good of the TEAM then he isn't a team player period and i want none of that. Go get cousins or whoever u can to replace him.

Its obvious he isn't and elite post player yet he commands the ball.

Stats show our Offense doesn't lose much firepower when he is out

The difference he brings to the team is CLEAR as day, and thats on the defensive end, every statistician can confirm this

Now aim not saying we should completely shut him out, but when he is defended by good defensive big men its pointless....80% of the times its a TO or a miss, if he's defended by weaker centers than we should take advantage accordingly.

But enough of this give me ball in the post every game, because he's shown he disappears against ppl like adams, Jordan, perkins, or anyone who knows how to play adequate post d, its ridiculous

I'd love to see Dwight play the Otis Thorpe role.

Robin Lopez is no scrub. He's very good defensively all around and can block shots. Also, Howard struggles more against legit 7 footers, so it's not at all that he was "expected to dominate".

If the Pacers would do us a solid and waive Scola, we could add Delfino and start running the Argentinian Dream Team in the second unit. Combined with Smith and Brewer, that would be a fun group to watch. Even if Dwight doesn't come back, a starting five of DMo/Jones/Ariza/Harden/Beverley combined with that bench could make a mini-run. They would at least be fun to watch.

We are going to play Howard less minutes anyhow when he comes back anyway to help his knee recover.

Play him for 6-8 min stretches. Play him at start of 2nd when Harden sits. That's the time you can try his post moves with Prigioni; he won't be banging against the starting centers then. We can sell him on that.

With the starting unit, an occasional high-low play with DMo or TJones. Just keep the offense efficient. That goes with everyone except Harden. All the rest should have a strict missed-attempts quota.

I don't mind Dwight getting touches in the low post when he's feeling it and dominating. He has been known to do that from time to time.

It's the other games when he just doesn't have it that we need to abandon ship and get the ball to other players like DMO Harden and Jsmoove.
