When Kobe talks its like watching a bad imitation of Michael Jordan, get your own personality. Kobe is just not cool. Great f***ing basketball player but that is it. Kudos to Kimmel, that was funny and well played.
doesn't look to me like he's bitter. He's just embarrassed to see his teammates make a clown out of themselves after having the season they're having. When you're not winning, and you've lost 8 out of 10 games, and you finally get a win, you don't have room to celebrate like this. They don't have room to be acting cocky. Kick people's ass night in night out then Kobe wouldn't mind however the hell you celebrate. I would have reacted the same if I was Kobe.
Kobe to me is no different to T mac, Iverson or D Wade. Yet he keep comparing himself to the all time legend.
Took the biggest per-year salary of any NBA player despite knowing it's a legacy pay-out and not on production. Ran off Dwight and ran off Pau, who also took less money to leave LA. Put up 20+ shots at 37% clip... Now complains that his teammates are celebrating a win. Kobe is about Kobe. It's about the spotlight being on him. Honestly, everything else about him is BS.
Room? Room for what? If they went and kicked ass in every remaining game, they still wouldn't make the playoffs. Then half the roster will get shipped out in the offseason anyway. Kobe is out of touch with reality.
I separate Lin because of the things he's said and how he acted. Lin wants to be a superstar player and wants to win, clearly. Whether he has the ability to do so is another question though. Young and Hill are just cool with whatever. Young is just happy to be playing in LA and dating Iggy Azaela tbh.
Lin sucks because he sucks not because of Kobe marginalizing Lin or racism or whatever stupid **** the Lin fans lie about.
My guess is that most Lakers will just roll their eyes. Kobe was not there battle fighting with them and was not very good when he did play this year. It is one thing to be a cop when you are contributing, another when you are just doing interviews.
