We outscored them by 2 points in the 4th quarter, and never trailed.

NBA is a game of runs. Rockets have shown over the course of the year, that the mid-4th is the time where we 'give up' a run. But I'd rather win the Q by blizting early and late than be a team who dominates the middle third, but loses the quarter and gets blitzed at the start and end of it....

    Just saying.

Dorsey isn't a starter that's why he plays 5 minutes a game. He is there so the rotations aren't screwed up. A lot of Coaches do this. Dorsey was playing pretty well as a starter; there was no need to put him with the second group (even though I think he did well there too).

IMO you put TJ in with the starters and DMO sees that TJ is inching closer and closer to overtaking him again and he nuts up. We've seen it before when they were pitted against each other DMO get promptly planted on the bench.

This isnt an indictment on Mchale's coaching. It's all on DMO! STOP NUTTING UP! learn to play well WITH TJ

DMO, Smith, and TJ are rated where they should be. I think Dorsey is the underrated one.

I actually think that McHale is rather fond of D-Mo. It's all who's playing better. Jones played a lot better than D-Mo tonight. I also noticed that D-Mo is huffing and puffing more than usual.

Noticed that also but it seems to be because the big Cs give DMo a tough time when he has guard them down in the paint, it takes a lot of him.

I don't think Dmo should play center. Other centers are just too strong for him to handle and can push him off his position on the boards and in the post. He has to play with someone that can bruise with the big bodies. Black and Dmo was a great pairing. Oddly, Dorsey and Dmo aren't that great even though Dorsey and Black are similar.

We would have lost if Bev was here. I know I made a thread about Prigs.. But I never expected Jones + DMo starting to be so effective!
Jones should stay starting from now it just makes sense

Agree with ya on Dorsey. He is solid defensively, guards the rim ok for a backup, great rebound rate.

    Passable as a backup IMHO.

I wish Prigioni had shot well. 0-3 from 3 point land was disappointing. I am glad that we won a tough game. Nice to see Jones having a good game.

Ariza's contract is not difficult to move at all and a number of teams inquired about him at the deadline... Long defensive minded swing players are highly coveted.

Pek is the strongest center in the league imo. Im not too worried about Dmo, of course he was going to have a hard time with him. Very few centers are as strong as Pek.

I like Ariza, his defense is so valuable to us, but I wish we can get Wilson Chandler next season instead of him. cyberx mentioned that Morey was interested in him.

    Great win tonight

T-Jones was a monster on the boards, 9 offensive and 15 total.

Somebody better tell Harden to stop braking ankles out there. Lol that crossover and stepback J is sweet as hell. Bwhahaha

    Josh is playing tremendous basketball.

    Solid game by everybody else.
