The organization can ask D12 all they want to just remain focus on D and rebounding. Issue is D12 actually listening and trying. It seems when the ball is not fed to him on the post he looses interest on the other aspects of the game.

Why not a DeAndre Jordan role? That works for this kind of offense. Plus he can PnR opposing defenses to death. But knowing Dwight's penchant for posting up, we'll probably have to give him his touches in the post. Too bad because he's more likely to get his points off of PnR, lobs and put-backs.

Harden needs to work on his recruiting and influencing skills if he really wanted Perk. Dwight was able to convince JSmoove, Harden needs to help bring in quality guys especially with the fire sale on bought out players. Just another step towarding him becoming the man on this team.

Because if he's asked to do so, he will just sulk and we will be stuck with his 20m salary for two more years.

Would you rather have that, or would you rather give him some touches in the post?

I agree. I'd like to see Harden a bit more involved with the recruitment side. He has an attitude that's a bit too laissez-faire for that tho.

I'd rather have him suited up and playing than sitting on the bench showing of his wardrobe. But yeah, I see your point.

I don't doubt that the organization would like to discuss it with Howard. I do doubt that they will actually do it. I think it's an idiotic move if they do.

All these years spent trying to avoid the pitfalls of becoming a run of the mill team, and right now we are so close to becoming just that. If the team has this conversation with Dwight and he is on board, then we are in heaven. Chances of that happening? Given Dwight's historical attitude and behavior... 1%.

Chances of Dwight withdrawing from the team is 99%. I'm sure it's tempting, but they're playing with fire here.

he doesn't have to dominate the offensive end... but it would be nice to dump it down low to him whenever we have a big lead.... we lose so many big leads because we go cold from 3 and let teams claw back into the game

Are you being sarcastic? This is one of the worst posts I've ever seen. We can hardly find minutes for Papanikolau as is.

I think he meant it as the execs are waiting on word on his injury. They really have no idea if he's gonna be ready to come back. Once they get a realistic timeline from the docs then we can proceed with our plans . Maybe morey would rather upgrade another position on this team then center. I heard someone mention Delfino. Is he finally healed from the injury he had after playing with us?. Seems like he disappeared.

Same here he was so much fun to watch. Plus he actually knows how to hit a 3 unlike everyone else

I think it's worth the risk of having this conversation since the cost isn't as high. Next year is the last year before his PO. If it works we're a better team and he likely takes his PO. If he sulks and withdraws no way he opts in if he doesn't like his role. He opts out to sign with another team or we trade him since he's disgruntled.

Upside is he gets on board and we play better. Downside is he shuts it down and wants out after next year which still leaves us with options. Bottomline I don't think we need to be so concerned about protecting his ego anymore given his limitations in the post, injury history, and being so close to his PO. We have more leverage to change his role now than when he first signed here.

either one of them... dmo has a better post game ill give you that but im just saying that we need to generate more of a post threat especially with a lead so we can not blow so many leads
