people keep talking about moving the needle...you're not gonna move the needle most of the time with just one move, Mo was a piece of the puzzle that was available for cheap.
You are correct. Sometimes it takes more than just one move. However...you can find guys like Mo Williams at any time, so being upset over not bringing him in is trivial at best. Morey knows he can find those kinds of pieces whenever he wants. What he's doing is keeping himself available for the guys who do move the needle. Now...if you disagree with that line of thinking, then that's fine, but that's just how Morey operates.
Yes, Morey knows he can find those kinds of pieces whenever he wants except he's too stupid / too cheap / too self-involved to go after a PG that would help with our current play-off run!!
Why are you asking me? I don't know who exactly Morey is targeting, nor do I know who's available. I just know it's clearly not the dime-a-dozen guys like Mo Williams who we clearly had the assets to get but Morey opted not to get them.
^^^^ And don't get me wrong, I would have been very happy with bringing in somebody like Mo Williams personally, but it's just clear that Morey isn't after those kind of guys.
I get what your saying, that Mo Willaims is over hyped. But I really don't find Prig better than Mo. However, I do think the risk of Mo effing up the locker room chemistry makes Pablo the player that is better to add.
Prigioni's a better NBA basketball player than Mo Williams? Has Prigioni ever averaged more than 10pts??? Pass whatever you've been smoking over here when you're done bro
what a scrub. definitely not a needle mover or starter on our team. vs Chicago Bulls 2/25/15...26 minutes played 17 pts/5 Ast/1 stl/1-4 3Pt/1 TO/7-15 Shooting
52 shots in 3 games. Those are Harden type numbers. Charlotte's basically given their offense to him. Wouldn't work that way here.
