    Forget all that "gabbage" people say he claim he has if somehow, SOMEHOW, we could have a legitmate shot at signing Dez here Rick Smith needs to go in.......

    yes I know highly unlikely this happens, and yes I know you dont even have a quarterback..but lets just say a deal can be put in place. Andre Johnson has what 2 years left? Why not invest in Dez? Thoughts, complaints?

    Absolutely none. They have no interest nor the cap space.

    You have barely 10mil in cap space, with Andre due to be a 23+mil hit on the cap for the next 2 seasons if things don't change contract wise for him. Then after that you've got Hopkins who will become the #1 WR for this team, and will be due a new contract.

    It would be a waste of money and time to even consider the thought.

    Another thing to consider, with Fitzgerald's new contract giving him 22mil GUARANTEED, I see absolutely no way in hell Johnson takes less money.
