I was rooting for Cumberbatch to win best actor for The Imitation Game. The guy was brilliant. I don't have a problem with Redmayne winning, however, as the same thing could be said for his performance.
Was Lucious, er I mean, Terrence Howard tweekin or something? He may have still been in character.....
Billy Crystal pretty much omitted himself out of the Oscars for his remarks towards gay marriage. He won't be asked back anytime soon.
I know he said something about the graphic nature of gay love scenes on tv, but I'm pretty sure he supports gay marriage.
It's not even clear that he was talking about the graphic nature of gay love scenes as much as he was talking about the increase in sex on tv in general. Apparently nobody at the press conference thought it was a bombshell because none of them asked him a follow up when he said it. He claims he was talking about sex on television in general.
Kevin Hart can be funny at times. 12 years was a great film. Gravity was pretty good but nowhere close to 12 years.
Yes. And yes, it is weird and dark. It's about an egomaniacal borderline schizophrenic washed up actor who feels he must prove to the world how exceptional he still is.
Yes, it's weird and dark. It's a little tiring. It's superbly acted and shot, totally unique. I don't think I'll put it on my list of favorite movies.
