Last season was last season. This team is very different from that one, this one plays a LOT more defense. We need our defensive anchor back in the middle playing at a high level, but I think we can hang with pretty much anyone. The Warriors probably give us trouble no matter what, but no other team in the West really frightens me.
Jsizzle is right, it hasn't mattered against the Clippers. Redick out plays Harden, Crawford goes off, and last time we didn't see Blake either...have no confidence of us beating that team. Fine, if they got Perk it would be from 5% to 0.00001% Good thing he went the Cavs, at least if we see the Cavs in the playoffs it means we'd have shut a lot of people up.
Morey literally has 500 bigger things to worry about than some anonymous insider on a fan site. I sincerely doubt he even cares to find out who CyberX is.
I think the Rockets like the insider thing. it helps their brand. people are so obsessed with Rocket news. Sure, it isnt like the Rockets are selling advertisement on clutchfans, but when peoples lives revolve around Rocket news, i am sure the Rockets are satisfied.
I kind of agree. No team really stands alone in making me think "I don't want them in the playoffs" other than GSW. But at the same time every team is tough enough to beat us... Seeds won't matter, but I still want as high a seed as possible.
This is why cyberx is the man. He doesn't try to toy with your emotions or turn it to some scavenger hunt with unitellegible sentences thinking its clever but in reality, mine as well be written by an 9 year old. Blah blah blah i got to cover my tracks so i don't get anyone in trouble. Yeah whatever, just don't tell us then if you could get in trouble. Nobody has time for word games, just give us the staight info.
Speak for yourself bruh. I think it's fun, and I'd rather have disguised info instead of nothing at all. If you personally wouldn't, is it too hard for you to ignore it?
You will if you watch the games. I hate Perkins. He's dirty and he's still got attitude toward us because of Westbrook's injury which was never Beverley's fault in the first place. There are players that are good enough they would help us win but that I dislike enough I don't want to win badly enough to have them on our team. Malone and Stockton were that for me. So is Perkins. I'm glad he's out of the conference. I don't even like seeing him on TV.
The question remains, for me at least, if any buy-out, CBAer or other is added to the roster then who. is. cut? It is certainly not clear cut to me who. would. be. cut. Assist me, s'il vous please. And thanks.
If anyone gets dropped, its likely Dorsey but he can't be dropped unless a big man is added. This could be why Morey said they likely wouldn't sign anyone who was waived.
I don't like the guy either but I would rather have the dirty player on my team than having to go against him. It's like in hockey where you hate certain enforcers or goons until they play for your team, then they're your goon.
Depends on whether its a big or guard. If guard, then Terry would be cut (expiring....no residual cap impact). If big, then most likely Dorsey. I don't see a big out there that is so much better than Dorsey that we would waive him and take the tax hit. I don't see Terry getting cut unless someone like DWill agreed to a buyout. Unlikely anything happens.
I'm with you on Perkins. However, I also fall into the "give Harden anything that he says will make him happy" category, which is slightly stronger than my Perkins dislike.
I agree, and the recruiting tool of do as much as you can to make your star players happy (player request, opinion in front office, etc.) is also a benefit. Players like that. Look at Cousins. He wasn't happy about the coaching change and players hear about how organisations involve star players in decision making.
