I have no issue with people having an opinion. Tinman, LosPollosHermanos (forgot your old name, bro), Kwame's always unhappy ass, etc.

But damn, one good postseason away from this thread backfiring hard. Doesn't mean you should back off, but this is your "home". Every time you utter a phrase, someone's going to quote your posts with a link to this thread.

This would be "Playoffs? NO WAY!" on steroids.

Yep! Surprised to see guys fiercely defending Mark Cuban here. Useful to know where some of these posters are coming from, since they add literally thousands of posts to the board. They wish Cuban would buy the Rockets. Holy ****.

I effing hate Mark Cuban. Can't stand him. But I prefer his approach to Les' for sure. I don't want Mark Cuban...I wish he'd get banned from the league and moved to Siberia...but I'd love to have a guy as passionate about the Rockets as he is about the Mavs owning the team.

Les bought into a team ready to go....and when it all fell apart, he's presided over the longest stretch of futility in this franchise's history. This once proud franchise winning one playoff series since 1998 is just utterly ridiculous....less than a handful of teams have been that bad over the same stretch.

cuban consistently reminds you that it's his team, he is the owner ,it's always all about him and his ego and wealth

For the reason Les is wayyyy better

obviously you haven't been on clutchfans for a while, "IF" threads are usually associated with Tracy McGrady threads.

    Go ahead, look for them

So did George Steinbrenner...and he also won an assload of championships. I can live with that if you can get results.

Really? How times does he have to say he's the owner of the Mavs? I think we know that.
I think you are confusing that he's always talking about his team vs always saying it's his team

    Exactly my feelings.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than the camera panning on Cuban and watching him pout while his team is getting hammered. He is a whiny little b****. However I would prefer someone like him over Les to own and run the Rockets. Les has turned me off with the playoff futility that spans over a decade and his periodic over the top statements that are completely out of touch with reality.

Mark Cuban bought a team that already had an all time great on it's roster in Nowitzki, so lets not act like he did some great job. He got lucky, just like Les did to have Dream already be on the roster when he bought the team.

He also inherited Nash and Michael Finley. Once Dirk is out of the league, then we will see what kind of owner he is.

the only reason this thread is getting this much response is because of the car washing people of sirbaihu and dbackmoney who can't imagine Les being replaced, of course sirbaihu is also on a mission of posting the most Mark Cuban pictures in one thread.

please dude, there were tons of tracy mcgrady threads saying he'd lead the Rockets to a championship or past the first round, in reality he only played 6 seasons with the rockets but newbs refer to his time like he was some Michael Jordan.

The poll results are what clutchfans think and that's the point of time we are in now.

the only reason why these newbs are replying is because superior posters like heypartner, DD, LosPollosHermanos are all superstars of clutchfans and want to make a name of themselves going at us.

I would suggest you start googling : Mark Cuban "news" and see how many result in on a weekly basis .if you go monthly, your device might crash

You are OBVIOUSLY NOT A MAVS FAN

    1. your name MAD MAX refers to a player acquired by Steve Patterson who helped bring true glory and pride to the Rockets

    2. you are a 99er brother, the purest of all ROCKETS FANS ON THE ENTIRE PLANET IN ANY GIVEN POINT IN TIME

lol..I hear ya, Tinman. But I feel sorry for true Rockets fans (like my 14 year old son) who have never known the Rockets we knew.

I'm a Rockets fan because they're from Houston. If they ever moved out of Houston, I'd be through with them...just like the Oilers/Titans. They're my team regardless of record, though. And that won't change.

But it sure was easier to be a fan of this franchise from 1980-1995. It sucks that guys younger than that haven't known the Rockets in that way...only through stories and highlight reels.

If I ever see Steve Paterson around Austin, i'm going to thank him for Clutch City.

You are a great dad who can tell your son stories of greatness and later when he's older, you can tell him Maxwell stories!

Cuban because he clearly care about the ring. Les doesn't even care if the arena is half empty as long as it's paid for.

I got a true story for you, a point in time way way back, when Cuban had HDNET (remember that channel?), I saw him in Vegas , he was surrounded by lots of people asking him questions.

I went up to him and ask him some questions about HDNET, then at the end, I told him "I'm a Rockets fan" and then was silent and gave me an evil look

    hahaahaha

But I got respect for him going out and taking questions about his product HDNET and knowing everything about it, I believe this was before 1080p TVs.
