Some guys here need to relax. The OP expressed sorrow for Bosh's condition in his statement and wished him well. We were awfully close to signing Bosh last summer so this is an absolutely legitimate topic to discuss imho.

    And...

This. We need to realize that basketball is a game and so much is based on pure luck and conincidence.

What really pisses me off is that he got the clots right before the NOP game. So now the Pelicans won and our pick is worth less.

And yes, in case it wasn't obvious enough, that's a joke.

baskebtall should be set aside in his case. forget what affect this has on the heat or rockets or the nba. he's in the hospital. we should all just wish him a speedy recovery.

Unfortunately lately in my personal life I've gotten way too familiar and knowledgeable about strokes, bleeds, and clots.

All I'll say is there is no way to tell you are at risk at an early age if you are healthy and at a reasonable weight. The PED talk is nonsense. It happens far too often to non PED users to have any ration explanation that THIS caused it.

I hope Bosh gets better and can get cleared to play again next year. I'm glad to see they caught it early though. Far too many people like myself saw no warning signs, we're out shopping like it was a normal day and your loved one all the sudden goes limp on half of their body. I see no tasteful way to combined that type of talk with Rockets hits and misses in transactions talk.

I'm wondering if this can recur, and if so, it could ultimately impact his career. I sincerely hope not. He's still too good a player and things were looking up for them with the addition of Dragic.

But we would have Parsons for $15M salary. The rockets got lucky again.

Could we have gotten an exception so that his contract did not count against our cap, or could the contract be voided?

Talking about CB4 has no impact on his recovery, so even the guy's life is at stake we're not the doctors working on his cure and recovery so what impact does talking about CB4's impact on the Rox have anything to do with his disease?

Obviously no one wants him to get sick but at the same time why should people refrain from talking about him just because he's sick? Some thing do indeed matter more than basketball but then again this is a Houston Rockets forum so shouldn't we talk about things basketball related? I can understand if we're on CB4's website or something but this is clutchfans so
