    Brewer and Smith, one mid-level exception.

    Could Brewer just accept his reasonable player option of 4.6 million, leaving us the MLE to re-sign Josh Smith?

    Beverley had 4 steals. That's pretty impressive and that sort of defensive effort was a big part of this win. I've been disappointed with Bev plenty as of late, but last night wasn't one of those times.

    It's true though. When you picture a monkey playing basketball, you picture Patrick Beverley. Just runs around and around in circles dribbling the ball, with bad tunnel vision. Bev plays monkeyball. Canaan even had more PG skills than Bev and hopefully Pablo gets the start in a few games. Rockets could really use a pure PG in the starting lineup and Bev can go back to being what he was when he first got here.

    I love how this team just traps the living crap out of people.


    But why do they not do this consistently.


    We have had two games this year where our defense has been jumping lanes and trapping the ball handlers and it has raised HELL!

    Can we do this every game?

    A pure PG who can shoot a wide open three at over 40% would make this team hard to beat.
