Lighting it up in the CBA.

He took Emmanuel Mudiay's spot on Guangdong and led them to like a 25-game winning streak.

Bev need to learn to drive and take a short jumper or something. He clearly gotta see the ball go in a little bit more. He starting to pass up open shots because of it.

Bev's D is pretty bad this year though. He can't sustain his style of defense without injuring himself. Best to come off the bench to maintain that style.

Steve Francis comeback in 5-4-3-2-1...

Seriously though, there has got to be a quality guard out there. Where is Delonte West?

Beverley has been terrible since his hot start. Pat is being played as traditional PG (in terms of minutes) and he is not one.

This is how to limit the bad Pat and channel the good Pat.

    1) Dont play Pat and Ariza together. Thats close to playing two Rondos together that cannot make plays for anyone.
    2) Get a traditional PG that can help Harden make plays on the perimeter and limit Pat's minutes.

Use Beverley as a tempo changer and to throw the opponent's rhythm on offense.

His biggest and most valuable contribution is him getting on his opponent's nerves. Do not underestimate the value of this trait, especially in the playoffs. Guys like Derek Fisher made a hefty living out of it.

Patrick Beverley, in limited minutes, is a valuable asset.

Patrick Beverley, in extended minutes, is asking for trouble.

You just have to make sure his minutes and responsibility do not cross the threshold where he becomes a liability.

    Prigioni/Beverley
    Harden/Terry
    Brewer/Ariza
    Jones/Smith
    Motie/Dorsey

I want this to be our starting 5, until Howard comes back. Then just put Jones back on the bench. Ariza and Bev have been way too trash lately, Dorsey was trash to begin with, Jones has looked nice.

Ariza needs to be in the starting lineup, period. His D in unbelievable and taken for granted. It would be foolish to remove him from the starting lineup. If you remove one, it is Bev, and it is not even close. Once again, a big question is how these guys will play when the Dwight Howard affect comes back?

It's painfully obvious that Bev and Ariza absolutely can't be on the floor together. It won't change though. Hopefully whom ever we match up with rpund 1 puts up stupid shots and turns the ball over like Toranto did tonight bec because shooting 30 years and hitting 20% of them won't cut it.

Let's not knee jerk after Brewer has his best game as a Rocket.

And I'm assuming you haven't seen the Knicks much this season.

I do however like Jones in the starting lineup with DMo. Give him a chance to reclaim the starting PF spot when Howard plays back.

See some posters advocating Brewer over Beverley, but I wouldn't go that far. Brewer has been a good instant offense off the bench & would rather he solidifies that role (should Morey upgrade at PG in the summer). What McHale needs to do is something call adjustment: sub Brewer in for Bev way way earlier when he plays out of control or can't hit the wide open shots.

You really can't have Ariza, bev, and Dorsey to a lesser extent in the starting lineup together, three NEGATIVE offensive players

What has Prigioni done? I could see if one would say hey let's start Terry. Prigioni gotta prove things in a rockets jersey before this.
