    well you just give credit to the defence but he effects the game in so many other ways, he has 3 rebounds 5 assists and 2 steals

    I don't keep up with it I just know they are over there and two of the better free agents available at their positions. Unless we want to sign Larry Sanders that is.

    Actually Ariza's defense is over-rated, yeah he plays the passing lane well and gets some steals but far too many times his man drives past him to the rim for an easy lay-up, he is by no means an elite defender, and his deplorable offense doesn't justify his pretty good defense.

    Are you serious right now? Harden has 3 turnovers and he's giving up some easy plays on defense. He needs to be more aggressive on offense and stop passing the ball off to beverley or ariza

    well we are winning and we are playing great defence but we need to get the reward on the offensive end for all the hard work on the defensive end

    The last part is key. Ariza is a good defender, but at what point does that no longer justify the putrid offensive performances? The NBA is filled with guys who are capable of playing at both ends of the floor. Why is it we have to settle for a Parsons who is good on offense but sucks on D(at least after his rookie season) or an Ariza who is the polar opposite(unless it's a contract year)?

    In my opinion, it is the perimeter defender's job to funnel their man to the big man, but if the big man doesn't rotate, everyone looks bad. So it may not be all his fault. Bev IS overrated though defensively
