It's great seeing posters ferociously fight to defend Mark Cuban. Just call your own selves out, fellas.

Some people can distinguish the owner from the team
And obviously the simple minded can't

    Jvg is a great commentator

"Come on, guys! Haven't you enjoyed the Mavs over the past 15 years? Don't you want a little bit of that Mavs magic? Am I the only one?"

So you do have no context, and view the world in a vaccum?

JVG is a great commentator and has always raved about the Rockets.... perhaps because he's a smart guy and understands professional sports is a BUSINESS.

Apparently you haven't read this thread with stories of less than stellar treatment of rockets coaches and players.

and yes it is a business and mark cuban is a better business man who works to improve relationships with his employees and customers

    I don't like Cuban

But he would definitely be a better owner

I mean I hate the Spurs more than any team

But I'd rather have Parker at pg than Bev

What do I need to read? JVG isn't butthurt and Adelman never amounted to anything after he left the Rockets. You really think Adelman was the right man for the job once the Yao/McGrady era was over? Coaches work for the organization and Adelman couldn't get on board with the roster turnover. Move on.....

Again, you have no context and just make assumptions, incorrectly.

***** Barkley, he's just mad he didn't have more money to gamble and loss. Seriously, join the Mavs forum since you love Cuban so much.

I found it funny Adelman took KMart and Budinger to Minnesota. Like he was going to win with them.

    Great coach, but I loled

Rick adelman is going to the hall of fame.

Once again you fail to see the question of this thread.

Dude I'm a 99er with hakeem status. The greatest rockets fans on earth. You hate us cause you aint us

"I KNOW Cuban signed his name to $76 million worth of contracts for these guys. But that in no way implies that he is responsible for these guys being Dallas Mavericks! The team would be exactly the same if it had had a different owner for the past 15 years. Duh."

    --Tinman

"Oh yeah. And Les Alexander's contractual obligations in no way imply that he is responsible the employment of the Houston Rockets!"

[This pic is not related to Mark Cuban in any way!]

You're talking to a dude who washes cars who gets confused if your wife drives the car one day and you the other.

    He can't comprehend that there's 31 flavors at Baskin-Robbins

And? Never said he wasn't a great coach (in fact I said he was a great coach), but he didn't amount to anything in Minnesota... Appears talent matters more than the coach or the owner.....

I see it, I'm just arguing and destroying that points you present. I have zero respect for anyone who sticks for the Mavs or Cuban.

LOLOLOLOLZ. Nah you're just a 99er who has to resort to trolling or worse a Cuban lover.

"Listen to a true 99er. The Rockets are like a car wash. And James Harden is like the kick assingest car washer in the whole car wash nation. And Mark Cuban also has a car wash. But I don't like it. But it's not his fault. So, if darn Cuban will just buy the Rockets car wash for like a billion dollars, then we can have a Rockets-style car wash run by a guy who has the ****ty car wash. That's gonna be better. Duh times a million!"

    Sincerely,
    Houston Car Wash 99

Still waiting for you to comment on Cuban's blowing up a championship team for capspace and flexibilty to chase FAs.

How can one come close to answering that? Ultimate hypothetical. And best believe that with how fickle the 2015 sports fan is, his "sideline antics" would be criticized on this board and around this city. (Up until 2011's title, if you give us DAL's history with under Mark's ownership.)

"I'm sorry, Mark Cuban" threads everywhere. If someone wrote an article, tweeted, or ever said anything coming close to lashing out at Cuban verbally, would be horribly punished around here. Why? Because "that's our guy!"

Arguments such as these are convenient to "right now". Last few years, DAL has done "something", Rockets haven't. Years such as 2000-03 used in such arguments like "they haven't done anything in x amount of years".

Only issue I had with Les was the Rudy T thing, really. But even with that, and Hakeem (for example), it's a business. "OMG don't let him go!!!!111!!" is lost with me. Hell, this board wanted Van Gundy gone so damned fast, it wasn't funny. Rick was because of Morey. They clashed, and one had to go.

All in all, the answer to the question: "Eh, maybe. Who the **** knows?"

Also, man I love Les. He's a top owner. Les has had his "Money over all" moments. (Lin, etc) Pretending like he doesn't care about the Ws, though? Crazy.
