The Majority of Clutchfans have spoken and the ones who are freaking out are the ones who don't like the outcome

"Come on, guys. PRETEND Cuban did not sign contracts with all those Mavs. PRETEND Les did not hire Harden, Howard, etc. Can't you just imagine stuff without having any connection to reality?"

Apparently some here don't understand that Les had more than 1 GM under his payroll.

And he fired the one that got Robert Horry, Hakeem Olajuwon, Otis Thorpe, Kenny Smith, and Sam Cassell

If that's true, I'm the #1 Les hater on this board...dude fired Rudy, JVG and Adelman, built a horrible stadium for fans and allowed CSN to screw those who don't go to the games.

So you can't answer my question....? Just say so.

99ers? Stop living in the past... I've been watching the Rockets since '91 so you're "status" means little to me.

So are you denying the Astro's were the majority owners or is that fact not convenient for you?

Majority of Americans don't believe in evolution, I don't take much stock in the opinions of rubes.

99ers are not a status, Hakeem is my status.
99ers are the group of people who joined for pure reasons.

Nobody was watching the Astros, the Rockets didn't have to join CSN.

I've been watching basketball before 91, but when clutch decided to make Clutchfans we heeded our calling

Even though I'm a Hakeem Status 99er, i only get 1 vote on the poll.

    The people have spoken.

Les treated the only guy who brought championships to this city in Rudy T who could actually coach with disdain and utter disrespect and then goes on and hires and rehires a Celtic phoney and fool in McHale who doesn't know ABCD of coaching.

Les could care less about winning. All he cares about are names and $$$

Then stop waving it around like it matters....

They would have had a very hard time being picked up by another provider without the Astros.

Yet, you're advocating for the Mavs.... No true Rocket fan would do that. Especially a GM who broke up his ONLY champsionship roster the following season in order for capspace!

True fans wonder about change all the time, look at the threads

also, don't ignore the results of the poll

reasonable people would have preferred a regime change

do you watch game of thrones? just because you are house lannister doesn't mean that you think joffrey should be king

Mark Cuban has the same haircut as Joffrey.

    Basically a bowl style cut.

You guys dislike Les Alexander. Duly noted. It doesn't mean jack to the Rockets, but you let your feelings out. Feel better?

So we went from Rudy T to Mchale? No other coaches in between? Dude, go troll in the a busy street, you add absolutely nothing to the discussion.

he was looking to replace JVG while JVG was coaching in the playoffs

    and Rick?

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=6384752

Some Rockets players were surprised and disappointed by the move.

"I think we lost one of the greatest coaches of all time," Kevin Martin, who also played for Adelman at Sacramento, told the Houston Chronicle. "We took a step backwards. It's like losing a great player. You see what happens. But for now, we took a step backwards."

Kyle Lowry said the firing was upsetting, according to the Chronicle.

"He's one of the best coaches I've ever had personally and I'm sure my teammates feel the same way." Lowry said, according to the report. "He's a great motivator, a great players' coach. He understood the game and players and how to get through to us."

Look across the league, good coaches get fired. Hell look across all of pro sports.... there aren't that many coaches that stay long term with a team.... it just doesn't happen.

Rudy T needed to be let go at the end, especially if you expect results. JVG and Adelman were good coaches but ultimately couldn't take us where we needed due to lack of talent/bad luck on injuries.

Toyata Center is actually nice if you travel and been to other stadiums, it just sucks that the lower bowl is overrun with corporate seats.

CSN deal is representive of what has happened across the nation as sports networks/affiliates sought to capitalize on the sports booms. Sucks, but that's business.

And? JVG is one of the biggest Rocket's and Rocket's organization boosters, do you not watch the games he broadcasts?:confused:

And Rick.... should I bring up and link the "Fire Rick threads", since you like basing knowledge on popular opinion?

Again? And? How'd Adelman do with the TWolves? Or did you forget the Rockets were getting younger and crappier and Adelman wasn't a good coach to develop a younger team.

It's like you rubes have no concept of context.....

Well if you're all for the owner who broke up his champsionship team to chase FA's with capspace and flexibility then it's bewildering your disdain for Les and Morey.

Also, Cuban fired Avery Johnson, who was their most winning head coach, oh the horror!
