Perkins has actually been a net positive this year and one of the best defensive Cs in basketball. I'd love to have him.
I'm sure the ball will wind up in his hands somehow. We've see Dorsey get some post touches and Bev/Ariza trying to do stuff off the dribble so it's only a matter of time.
a restricted free agent could agree to one if he sees more playing time at the new club. for an unrestricted free agent a s&t gets him to a team he wants to play for but doesn't have the cap space.
If he does leave, how could we conceivably obtain him? Would it have to be a sign and trade package? And if so what would that include?
No the team can't receive S+T if they after that get to 4 mil over the tax. And the restricted anyway is under the control of his team since they can match any offer. So it's out of his hand no matter what. And if the team interested offered him a sheet and he signed it a S+T cant be done for one year I think. The value of S+T was mostly for UFA.
Rockets need to emulate what the GSW are doing. My brother is a huge fan so I watch them also. They move the ball so fast (spurs esque) they are moving when catching the passes beating their defender forcing help defense, allowing for open shots. Its clear to me GSW brand of basketball is what Morey looking for when he signed mchale and before GSW had such a good record. Watching Curry play he just toys with the defender. He looks as if he knows that he could score right now but would rather toss you around a bit, humiliate you, and proceed to dominate. I know Harden is the one that we should be comparing to Curry, but for me it should be Pat Bev. I am absolutely shocked that we didnt bring in a PG at the trade deadline. It scares me because I have a feeling that we are going to resign Bev but I want 6th man mins for him. I would rather the trade Bev for talent or picks and moved up Cannan who is a better scorer then Pat. Rant over TLDR Copy GSW, Move the ball much faster, should of traded pat for value, moved up cannon would like to link a really good article I found http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2271582-how-the-golden-state-warriors-offense-has-evolved-under-steve-kerr
Cav's being the front runner should be a great example of why the disputes players have with each other are overrated. Perkins and Lebron were supposedly known to hate each other just like the hype of Durant hating Dwight.
I'm pretty sure it's 4 mil over the tax. I'm not cap expert though. Anyway..there's almost no incentive for Love.

Which exactly makes no sense why the Bulls are considered frontrunners. I think it would be between Cavs Atlanta and Rockets.
They played AAU basketball together. Doubt there was any hate. That was the whole Celtics vs Cavs thing.
