Why do we continue with the all 3s and no mid range shots when we have such ****ty distance shooters?

 

You were wrong though. Rockets were scoring and they stopped scoring. Rockets couldn't handle the tipped balls, so the Mavs ran time off before they bricked.

 

Ariza trying to play hero ball cost us. Good comeback though.

At first I stood by Ariza because of his D but the guy just ****ing sucks on offense this year.

McHale can't make ****ing adjustments and Morey can't make proper ****ing trades. Mc**** is the most garbage piece of **** coach in the league. He benches players when they are playing well. I don't give a **** about him having family problems (my sincere condolences to him and his family and hope he's been coping well with his losses), but that shouldn't mean the Rockets involve family with business and be nice to Mc**** and give him a 3 year extension because of that. So ****ing tired of this Rockets organization. The worst part about Mc**** besides his obvious terrible half-court sets is that he is terrible at identifying talent and putting them in their best spots to succeed... and last but not least, this trade deadine is a huge FAIL in the eyes of all potential FAs. Morey can't get the job done in terms of surrounding stars with the right role players and now Harden is left with noone who can create for him but himself. I can only pray we get out of the first round, ever.

 

Seriously without Harden the team average is probably under 60%

 

Portland getting blown out which is good . It s hard to play your best after a long break

 

It's not about the offense. We'd be fine if our defense was consistent

 

Still. Rather have Harden shoot and miss than hope Ariza or Brewer can hit a shot. We are paying Harden to be a superstar yet we keep letting others shoot.

People love Ariza for his defense but overlook how many he games he flat out bricks us out of.

 

Parsons is a better fit than Ariza

 

It's amazing how he just sits back and lets these guys jack up 3-pointers. Seriously, nearly every shot we've attempted in the last few minutes has been from beyond the arc. Notice how the Mavs aren't settling for the outside shot and move the ball around and attack the rim?

What's even more frustrating is that we don't have good 3-point shooters on the roster. At least if we had guys who were knocking down 40+% from downtown, I could understand constantly firing away from outside.

No, my point was that even when we make a run, we will balance out because we don't have CONSISTENT scoring which allows you to SUSTAIN a run.

Eventually our runs end, and teams with better offensive players will not suffer those inconsistencies.

We lack offense - plain and simple our offense sucks.

We lost this game because of every player on the court except Harden and Joey dogging it for 1/2 the game. You've seen it before...unfortunately, you'll see it AGAIN.
