    Have you not read all the negative things that several of the founding fathers had to say about Christianity? Don't you know that one of the things that the Christians trying to change the text books were altering was trying to minimize the role of men like Jefferson and Paine in the revolution because of the anti-christian mindset of those men.

    This nation was founded to be non-christian. Looks like you've been reading some of them good Texas text books that misconstrue history for propaganda reasons.

    But what the founding fathers really preached against was not letting the bankers gain control. And right now they're probably turning over in their graves because the Federal Reserve runs the government and it is privately owned.

    I'm against mass surveillance to the point where I almost rather risk a terrorist attack yet I view that it has no impact to me. They may seems opposite but I hold both view without conflict. Now, as I stated, policies, laws, rules that are religious-driven does have a direct impact.

    The government has been shyt'n on American Citizens and wiping their azz with the constitution. Case and point ---> they are violating your constitutional right (16th amendment) by taxing you for your labor and that started over a century ago (1913). If you go to court for not filing your income tax they can not show you a law anywhere showing that you have to. But they will still throw your azz in jail and confiscate your stuff. And the Federal Reserve makes money off of that.

    And the Patriot Act has been going on long before 9/11...

    How are they violating my Constitutional rights when the Constitution itself provides that "Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes...." ????

    That Amendment to the Constitution gave Congress the authority to create the tax code...and in that tax code are the laws that they will gladly show you before they put your azz in jail for not following them.

    Why can't something be influenced by individuals WHO HAPPENED TO BE CHRISTIANS... So any work done by those who claim to be Christian is attributed to Christianity?

    If a Muslim architect designed a new skyscraper, is that skyscraper "influenced by Islamic principles"?

    Just because SOME of the founding fathers were Christian and John Locke was Christian doesn't mean their work was influenced by Christianity. Again, name me one Christian principle that influenced the Constitution. I have yet to hear any of the hundreds of Christians who claim that American was founded Christianity to answer this question.

    Are you sure...??? Because in 2005 a judge even ruled that citizens don't have to see the law which is against our constitutional rights as well. The IRS is vicious. But I won't burn my thumbs up debating with you. This video will tell you and you can debate with it.

    All of this fighting about religion and the social divide is what the people in power want because it keeps us divided and from paying attention to what they are doing.

    I love how many of the most prominent founding fathers explicitly stated that Christianity was not an "influencing" factor in the formation of this nation and its laws yet so many half-wit right wingers keep on preaching it.

    The men who created this country and our constitution believed that they were given the right to do so by their creator God. They were Christian, you may not like it but their moral, political and ethical principles were all based on their religious belief system which was Christian. Probably the biggest Christian principal that influenced the constitution which is also the biggest difference between Christians and Muslims is freedom. You are free to choose your own God. You are also free to NOT choose God. Those choices do not change your place in this country or your level of freedom.

    You ought to read the Declaration of Independence for a better view on the WHY they started this nation and what kind of beliefs they had. The owners manual never gives a very good indication of the passion behind the reason it was built.

    Yes and I also know who signed it. Jefferson believed in God he just wasn't much into religion. I can relate to that.
