If he's bought I can't imagine anyone else getting him. He's buddies with Dwight and we have A LOT of potential PT for him, I still can't see them agreeing to a buyout, but who knows?

Yes. That's why I found the trade stupid. Afflalo will need to be injured to not opt out. I see no way otherwise for him to opt in and hit FA at age 32 when half the league will be FA.
Plus Matthews will be pursued by NY and the Blazers will be cornered to retain him.
This was clearly a win now **** the future (for minimal assets granted) by the Blazers.

Elton Brand, Bernard James, Brandan Wright and Eddy Curry were big man teammates of Dahntay Jones' only year as a Mav

The only way I can see a buyout happening with DWill is if he values getting out of that team and wants to contend badly enough to leave some of his guaranteed money on the table. Does he want to compete or collect his money for the next couple years on a team that won't go anywhere?

It's hard for anyone to just leave millions on the table so I don't see it happening unless the Nets and Dwill are close in a number value.

Even if he were to want out, the Nets might not want to do a buyout. They may hold to the idea that in the last year of his deal they'll be able to trade him and get out from under all of it, even the cap hit.

He signed 2 separate 10 day contracts with the Bucks this season. After that they let him walk. I have no idea what his stats looked light or how in shape he appeared. But at least he is relevant enough to get a 2nd 10 day contract.

I think D Town is Denver, I think he referring to Kenyon Martin, I wish it were Brandan Wright getting bought out but there is 0% that happens I'd imagine.

Yeah but Jones got in altercations with with Kobe during a playoff series that both Martin and Jones where playing in, I think this one was obvious. Plus "nasty" which boils it down to either Martin or Curry on your list lol, 'bone on bone retirement" he had micro-fracture surgery.

Pretty sure it's Martin, but is he really an upgrade over Dorsey? I'm not sure about that. Perkins is a clear upgrade, Blatche, Dalembert, O'Neal sure... don't think Martin is... for our C positions.

You are the smartest fans. Just find the 3 most unhappy teams and look for the bricks to start falling. Chemistry is important. Do you really think KG leaving Brooklyn is going to help that team? He is their voice.

Media Maniac has lost all control. I know this from the locker room. Guys talk OVER him. That's why he talks about them in the media. It's done in DTown. Guys want OUT.

Okay, stop baiting me. :) Time to work.

But I do love ya'll. We will grab a buyout(s). That's what I was told. I hope it pans out.

We need some nasty. IF we face Portland again, we can't rely on Dorsey defending LA. We need a starting center UNTIL Dwight comes back. :) Hi, Bull.

With the potential to lose both Terry & Brewer, Afflalo would be an excellent pickup for 6th man off the bench, so I'm sure Morey was at least hoping to retain him.

Wouldn't be surprised to target him this offseason with an Ariza-like contract. Unlikely to seal the deal, but doubt he gets a significant offer elsewhere due to age.

I'm not sure they are even going to consider any of the guys on the free agent wire to be honest. Dorsey's million next year would be hard for Morey to swallow if he had to release him.

As for the idea that they will consider "multiple" guys on the free agent wire, I say no chance. Even if you believe they will cut Dorsey and just eat the guaranteed year, who is the 2nd guy they are going to cut?

If Deron Williams was bought out I'd certainly imagine they'd be willing to cut people to make that happen, but I'm not sure there's any chance they would do that for Kenyon Martin, Kendrick Perkins, etc.

Wrong. He signed two 10 day contracts and after that a contract for the remainder of the season.
Then got waived because of no roster spots and the Sanders buyout not finalised yet.

They chose JOB3 over him and Job3 is one of the worst player in the league to ever start. So that's why I think he will retire and join the coaching staff and go to Henson ear with some modafugga grab a fking rebound .
He can still play. I had to eat crow after whining about him and the cronyism of Kidd hiring his old washed up pals.

If Dwill wants to play and compete with a contending team, we are the best fit. Every other team is set at PG, we are the only one that can offer significant minutes (maybe even a starting job if Bev continues his poor play).

Think of it has Josh Smith part 2. Bad situation but if in a better situation, he can prove that he can still play.

Big thing is if he will get bought out. I think Morey is waiting for this to happen.
