2 picks in the 50's or are we giving up more than that? We can buy 2nd round picks in this range.

See his contract? You really want to commit that much to Isiah Thomas?

He is a very smart vet PG. He finds the open man. He can hit the open 3. That is all we needed out of a PG. Put him in with the 2nd unit and run P&R all night long. He will create for others. Let's give him a chance to see what he can do before you say this was stupid. I'm SURE Morey did his homework on the guy. Best thing, we kept ALL of our rotation players. This team will only get better by playoff time.

Why screw with that team's chemistry and rotation when we are sitting in 3rd?

Yes, if we exchange the Shved and Prigioni, then it is a win. However, we gave up 2 of 2nd rounds. Even those are late 2nd Rounds. They still have more value than Prigioni. Unless we don't play Terry too much from now on, I don't see Prigioni get much of PT.

I rage-voted no, but coming to my senses, I believe this was a net positive. Morey strikes again.

I think a lot of people voted no,because they were just mad we didn't get someone bigger but I think most of us will love this trade. Whenever Bev doesn't have his shot, we can just put in (as New Yorkers call him) Priggy Smalls! Prigioni can also probably facilitate the second unit better than anybody else on our team right now. Terry no longer has to play out of position as the second string PG. Also, Prigs shot 46% from 3 last year! He'll get more open looks than ever here with James Harden and Dwight Howard on the floor.

I like Prigioni from his Argentina days but at 37, I would have preferred to keep Canaan.

Still DMo should love playing PnR with him.

The numbers are clear: Pablo Prigioni deserves to start over Patrick Beverley.:p

For this season, I like Prig. Not sure if he'll have a drop off next year but this year he is very productive.

Keep in mind guys, Prigioni is the same age as Manu... Manu played a key role on the championship Spurs last season.

By the time we surrender the second round picks, Prigioni will have moved into retirement home.

I actually like this move. Shved is useless. And who cares about our second rounders 4 years from now?

His 3pt % is decent but he doesn't attempt many at all. .9 makes off of 2.1 attempts for his 3 seasons in the NBA.
