If Pablo plays like he is capable of then it bumps Terry out of the rotation... which is fine with me.

    This. So many cry babies.

It was great to see the "Hinkey>Morey" type posts. Just dumb AF.

i have to believe these "sky is falling" fans weren't around for the Chuck Hayes at Center days. It wasn't that long ago that Kevin Martin was our "star player" and our hopes were pinned on Chase Budinger having a break out season.

it absoluted astounded me that a team with Harden, Howard, Smith + a mix of young and veteran talent was treated with such scorn. but now, nothing shocks me. these fans remind me of a 12 year old who refuses to play with his Xbox because his neighbor got a PS4.

We haven't had a losing season in forever and we're now 3rd in the West with the league MVP on our team. All without tanking. Without even having a pick in the top 10! Yeah GSW and OKC are tough teams. They also tanked multiple years to draft great talent. Morey's carved out a contender without that luxury.

Terry is worse at literally everything. Shooting, ball handling, passing, defense... you name it.

Prigs is a career 41% three point shooter.

And don't forget the Rockets still have the genius GM whose analytics have not been given enough time to work. Why, it's been only almost a decade of countless wheeling and dealing of assets so the GM is not yet even half way in his grand plan to bring championships to Houston. After all it is simplistic of people to think that it is easy to build a team even if one has the great analytics as the greatest tool for building championship teams in basketball.

Everyone should be happy that after all these years the Rockets have flexibility and the NOP's first round to look forward to the next season and beyond. Sarcasm of course, just could not help holding my keyboard any longer after so long.

Prigioni is a big game player. Much better asset for this year's playoffs.

We got better, I think. Of course, McHale will have to play these guys-- if he plays them at all, I bet we'll see better D out of both new guys than what we had. If he doesn't play them-- well, surely he'll play them, right? In fact, I wish he'd rest Bev for a couple weeks. Let the old men get some run at the point; let Bev get well. Maybe play Harden at the point a bit, with KJ alongside. We got some decent depth now, with some quality defenders at every position. And y'all know what defense wins.

Anyone know the playoff roster deadline?

Joey Dorsey will be up against either DeAndre Jordan, Brook Lopez, Tyson Chandler, Andrew Bogut & possibly Anthony Davis. We will not go anywhere with a 6'6 scrub pretending to be a legit center in the West. You guys can ignore this all you want but I, like other Rocket fans, know Dorsey at center is laughable.

Dwight will eventually be back right before the playoffs. But even then he will not play major minutes. D-Mo is non existent against bigger, stronger, centers. Mchale will be forced to play Dorsey and we will exit the 1st round. Why Morey traded for another wing player over a backup center with size will forever baffle me:confused:

This just moves Terry to his natural position. Terry isnt a ball handler he's a shooter. a small lineup of Pablo,Terry, Brew, Ariza, and Josh can get all the steals.

Our bench now: PP/JET, KJ, Brewer, JSmoove, TJones.

LOVE IT. Run Run Run and great defense

    Ditto.
I am also tired after all the waste trades of Jordan Hill, Hamilton, Brooks, Thomas Robinson. I was like hmm the first time, Ok the second time, what the third time, and not freaking again this time. I am not necessairly against swapping ICAN and Shved (who I think really is not that good) with Pablo and this new kid. I see the point. But, I was hoping, as smart as Morey, he would already see what this team needs and make some bold moves. We are wasting Harden IMHO.

Isn't it not obvious, after Parsons gone, we don't have another guy that can consistently create and score after Harden is locked down. Why aren't we not addressing that?

Idiots talk about championships like it's so easy to get... Morey has significantly improved the team compared to what he had to work with, all without having to tank for a high draft pick or having a foundational player to work with. We only RECENTLY found one in Harden.

I don't think these moves make any significant difference. We got at best a marginal upgrade at backup point, and a backup wing who is pretty similar to the guys we already have. McDaniels does have some potential going forward(if we manage to keep him), but that's about it.

As for this season, we'll lose in the first(most likely) or second round of the playoffs just like we would have if we had done nothing.

The KJ move was is a potential game changer. What The rockets just did was say Harden is our PG which is what we have always known. Now with this move we have the potential of a of Harden and KJ backcourt with Bev coming of the bench. Of course this will be over time but it could be a sneaky good move here if KJ comes to play and Mchale is not afraid to play the rookies.
